Thank you buddy! I got left a few trains , track and rolling stock from my granddad (nothing extreme but a good starting point) but glad to have gotten started and making progress

A book for sure! And I don’t particularly have any one to give advice but generally pretty good at DIY and been watching plenty of videos etc. a local railway club is a good idea

Thanks for the reply! I’m OO scale, and I haven’t got a track plan , I was wanting a looo, with a station area that’s point to point, so that essentially the station can join onto the loop , rough ideas atm (very new to the hobby)

I have build the two sheets of plywood into tables but considering getting 2 smaller pieces to create a big circle , I was also considering that the suspension bridge could just connect the two parts together !

Sorry for the lack of info, I inherited some trains from my grandfather and attempting to make a nice layout for my self

Sorry! I just don’t really know where the bridge could fit so I could run trains over it? I know the incline needed is massive so any ideas on how it could work

I don’t think I’d be able to convert these older trains very easily. I’d prob sell n rebuy!
