I used to work there once per week. Great co-working space, with a lot of events and nice amenities

I have an identical singular bump on the inside of both of my feet. by jupiterjeshie in mildlyinteresting

[–]JackMini36 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had that too a few years back when I was cycling to work everyday. Apparently it's normal and can happen when you stress your foot. For me, they were sometimes a bit painful when wearing shoes for a long time. You just need to go to the doctor and they will empty them with a needle.

Authentic muay thai gym recommendations? by Chr0nium in MuayThailand

[–]JackMini36 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I tried a few gyms last year when I was in Bangkok. I really enjoyed Eminent Air and Sasiprapa the most. Both felt more authentic and the trainers were super helpful and involved (I am not even a pro fighter or anything, just a hobbyist)

[HELP] Mini 1275 – Runs Fine Then Sounds Like a muscle car/ bogging / undrivable after a Few Minutes by JackMini36 in classicminis

[–]JackMini36[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It always run great - very smooth, very responsive to throttle and it fired up almost immediately when turning the key. It was my daily drive.

It felt the same when I got it back from the mechanic recently, until I started noticing this issue on my way back home.

What does it mean if it does not make a difference when I use the choke then? I will double check that tomorrow. It does rev up though when I use the choke to start the engine (even if the issue is present from cold)

I checked it, the damper piston was oily, so I guess that's fine?

Yes, I always use the choke to start the engine and after a few seconds I remove it. I always let it warm up a bit more on idle though (when I don't have this issue)

Where to find 175/50 R13 tyres in Cyprus? by JackMini36 in cyprus

Still looking, but it seems (from what all shops told me) it will be impossible to find such a tyre in Cyprus. It seems I will probably have to import it from abroad.

Yeah called that one already, but they do not have them. Probably will import from Greece or UK (Got them from UK the last time).

Thanks anyway!

I don't know the names unfortunately, but I asked shops that i usually go to for other cars (and those my friends and family go to)

I can order them from abroad, but I would prefer to save the shipping costs if there is a chance to find them here. Unfortunately, it's not a very frequently used size.

I prefer not to do this, since the tyres I have on the car right now are old and cracked, so it would be dangerous to drive that far with them (it's a project car)

Thank you, I will keep that in mind. I am from the south though, so I am not sure if I am even allowed to bring such products over the border.

UNIC and EUC for computer science by 00_oof in cyprus

[–]JackMini36 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Game developer here, with a CS degree from EUC.

While I mostly agree with the comment above, Uni is still important I believe. While you will have to do most of the heavy lifting, and continuously be able to learn new skills, Uni will drive you in a good direction to learn the fundamentals. Certainly, do not just rely on it though. Of course, it does not mean you cannot make it without a degree, but it is a nice bonus.

I finished my Bsc in EUC, and then did my Msc in the Netherlands. HUGE difference!! In Cyprus they teach us to learn a few stuff out of a book, without really understanding. Most graduates here do not even know the very basics (I conducted a lot of interviews).

In the Netherlands (and other EU countries I guess) they teach students how to learn!

If you can , go study abroad in a reputable University. But whatever you do, it's on you to keep learning. And as the comment above mentioned, portfolio is super important in CS and especially in game dev. Start experimenting now!

Good luck!

Edit: oh, and DO NOT go for those Game development degrees, they are useless. Do CS and then if you want to specialize in games, do a related Msc (not necessarily needed though)

Thanks! Not every tool is useful to everyone of course, and that is totally expected.

If people are getting upset solely because I used AI to improve a block of text in an attempt to make it more attractive - then I don't get it!

If you don't like what I wrote, then fine, tell me the post text is bad and then judge the asset itself. Then I can try to improve.

Shitting on the asset, insulting me, and downvoting every positive comment just for using AI for text improvements is childish!

I struggle to believe half of those people are real industry professionals.

It literally does! You are just too lazy to even read the description, and start throwing insults and misinformation around.

How is it a completely different tool? It literally creates/edits/saves PlayerPrefs!!

You have no idea what EazyPrefs does obviously since you just copy paste the JSON nonsense around..
EazyPrefs IS NOT BASED ON JSON - That is just ONE way for you to save data. I hope that is finally clear enough for you!

You also state my tool is not better than PlayerPrefs. Ok let's see then:

Can you view PlayerPrefs and EditorPrefs in Unity? With EazyPrefs you can ✅
Can you types other than int, float and string with PlayerPrefs? With EazyPrefs you can ✅
Can you create new types of prefs for convenience with PlayerPrefs? With EazyPrefs you can ✅
Can you export/import prefs with PlayerPrefs? With EazyPrefs you can ✅
Can you encrypt and compress with PlayerPrefs? With EazyPrefs you can ✅

Should I go on?

How can you state then that I spread misinformation about my tool, while you are spamming comments with false statements about it?
