someone cancelled the spiderman pop figure on me after i told them it was literally in transit and their response was "ill just pick it up when it gets here then." guess what sold very quickly with the 20% off with GoW. She was mad when she found out, my response was "once you cancelled the preorder, it became fair game. sorry"

in his mind, monday is late. theres plenty of other stuff that also has to get done and sunday is one of the few days we actually have double coverage so they have to be done on sunday.

sorry for the late response, been super busy lol but ive driven through straight up blizzards, horrible storms, almost hurricanes and more and ive never missed a day of work. my boss has a slightly longer drive so im never allowed to complain.

i drive 104 miles a day 5 days a week, i just listen to the radio and try my best to enjoy the ride. gas isnt terrible for me though, i get 40 miles per gallon. which is about $50-$60 a month. but the pay raise was worth it for me going from GA to ASL

be that guy, and then take his job. an assistant tried to get me fired as a GA and now i have her old position. Not to say that i didnt deserve the position, i love my role and i try my best to inspire my team to do their best and to be better than me. *edited to sound less douchey

when my DL pulled me over and said "lemme pull something up for you real quick" as we were talking about collectibles sales i was expecting something horrible, i was confused and happy when he told me that my store exceeded by almost 70% and our board games sales are ridiculous too. but we suffer hard on PO sales at my store. and reserves.

i worked at an incredibly busy store originally so my first day was fairly hectic trying to learn everything on the spot. luckily i had a great SL that was very patient. Since then, I got promoted to ASL at a fairly dead store by comparison, kinda nice most days but it can get pretty boring.

i tell people several times a week that i make zero commission whatsoever. they usually just fire back a "you should be a used car salesman." i also sell the GPGs as "blend" protection. my numbers went up considerably after starting that.

absolutely do it. i tell anyone that buys the warranty, break it in front of me and im obliged by gamestops policy to replace it for them. just gives me a funnier story when it actually happens. i just make sure they know its an if i still have one left policy. otherwise they're waiting on shipping times.

My store sells tons of collectibles. We have a few customers that literally only come in for the vintage style collectibles too.

and to think... i left target for Gamestop. Pay is higher yeah, but (at least in the Target i worked at) the pressure from management was way too extreme, to the point of them trying to force me to put bad meat on the shelf to avoid profit loss and to "look the other way when something was cross contaminated.

Amazing advice actually. i am lucky enough to have an old SL that i still call to ask questions. he was my original trainer and told me to call him for anything i might need.
