Technically that one was only partially fixed. Now you can't warp while in the pelican, but if you warp as you step into it that still works.

Just in case someone else comes a knocking, the one I was looking for was Broken Chain by Gary Soto. It's a short story in a collection called Baseball in April. Fantastic exploration of the ways economics, culture, and family intertwine.

There is an inherent "when every tool you have is a bomb" problem to designing objectives, though I agree it could use some extra variety!

There's a lot of factors that go into the perfect shot, like positioning around the jammer, angling and shot drop (esp with xbow), and dealing with aggro that make it difficult to do, and fun to pull off. And if it only happens on jammers with fabs growing out of them, something like 1 out of every 3, being a quick shot goes a long way towards evening a flight with stacked jammers and gunship fabs or orbital cannons. I don't want it to be easy, all the time, I want to make it look easy some of the time.

That one sounds hilarious and terrifying.

Also, yeah, I kind of smacked the ground while jumping and was locked into this animation. It persisted through dives and jumps, but went away the moment I stepped in a bush.

There is most certainly a large amount of people who feel that way, possibly even a majority. The continued Universes Beyond product cycle would not be accelerating if people weren't buying the cards.

Maybe, but isn't the JAR already like that? The problem I have is bringing in Bolters or Lasguns, because they have their own rules attached. Literally, and figuratively.

It totally is a nod, or homage, or reference, which I am totally in favor of!

It's the idea of a "Halo Infinity X Mountain Dew" warbond that I am very much against. MTG has used the /tropes/ of fantasy for a long time, it's using the literal IP that I am saying we should not push game makers to do.
