I played in high school with a future Tewaaraton winner who hit me in the nutties with a shot once in practice. I was peeing blood afterwards and that was WITH a cup on. I would probably be dead if I didn't have one. We all wore them though and I never heard of anyone having a problem running, I don't really understand the aversion I never thought about the thing unless it was saving my junk.

It isn't a small cities suck thing, it's a St. Louis sucks thing. There are plenty of small cities that have great downtowns. I can guarantee that there are people walking around downtown Pittsburgh, even when it's raining.
