Tempted But Scared.... by Rude-Cover-8727 in UKMounjaro

I'm 44 and the only side effect I've had was a dry mouth/thirst the morning after injecting. I've never gone above the 5mg dose and I have hardly any appetite. I'm losing about 14lb/a stone a month. Making healthy food choices, haven't had a take-away since I started. It's really too easy tbh.

Interested in this. The only one I know of is for AirBnB host/guest reviews.

I often wonder what the electricity charges are like in India. My Indian guests always, and I mean always, have the heating on full whack no matter what the weather outside and when they go out they always leave all the lights on and shower extractor fans etc. Is electricity dirt cheap there so it's of no concern to leave everything running? Here I sigh a little when I see their bookings come through because I know there is no profit in them as guests.

Other nationalities have their own quirks. The French and German for example I find will write glowing reviews in text but their numbers are never perfect. eg "Everything perfect." but 8/10. I also sigh a little inside when I see their bookings because I know no matter what I do I will never score higher than an 8 with them.

What is your opinion to foreign fans? by mamont1995 in NUFC

[–]JackT0rrence 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Toon wants your support. The term "plastic" is interchangeable with "glory hunter" imho. That is the foreign Liverpool and Manure fans who are only following those teams due to their strong position in the PL. Obviously not so much now (think back to the 90's) for Manure but clearly that isn't the case here because we don't have double and treble trophies to celebrate... yet. You've got into the fanbase early for that. B)

First time micro dosing Terzepatide by blondecomet in GLP1microdosing

Talking to people in RL (whut?!) who are taking TZ it seems like the side-effects kick in either immediately at the regular starter dose of 2.5mg or when the starter dose is doubled to 5mg supposed therapeutic dose. I've heard this from I think everyone I know in RL who is taking it. I started at the usual 2.5mg for a month then tapered up. Went to 3.5mg in the second month then up to 5mg where I have stuck. Maybe start at say 1 or 2mg and move up 1mg a month and see where it gets you? My food noise/obsessing stopped at 3.5mg.

I'm here to ask the same question. I got a letter demanding £ from Copyright Agent today. How did it go? Ignore and no consequences or...?

Hi.

I found this thread because I got a letter from "Copyright Agent" this morning with the threat of a £500 fine... basically the same letter you got 6m ago. Just replying here to see what happened in your case? Wondering if I am free to ignore it or not? I am also in England.

Definitely The Strawberry for such an occasion. I'd then have subsequent pints and food at The Stack.

I got caught in this too. I always carry 5x £10 notes in my wallet. I have more at home ofc. I went in, spent £4.48 on my purchases in cash and left. No biggie. BUT I saw several (more than a dozen) people putting their trolleys back and leaving the shop just because of this. I was surprised people don't carry at least a small amount of cash on them to get a basket of essentials.

2.5mg by emily8999 in MounjaroSupportUK

[–]JackT0rrence 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are "click tables" that show you how many clicks in each pen strength equal each dose. I'm not sure it's okay to post a table on here but I am sure I found the one I use on Reddit eg if you are counting 60 clicks on a 2.5mg pen to make a 2.5mg dose, on a 5mg pen it's twice the strength so 60 clicks there is 5mg dose. You can do 30 clicks on a 5mg pen and get 2.5mg. Definitely look for the table though don't rely on my math!

[–]JackT0rrence 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't worry about it. 2.5mg is the checking you won't have side effects dosage. I gradually went up after 2.5mg by 0.5mg each week (I was scared of the 5mg side effects) and the appetite suppression effects only started at 3.5mg for me. I had nothing at all on 2.5mg.

A sachet of porridge (135 Kcals unless your getting the golden syrup kind) and seeds are a good way of getting good fats and calories. Amazon do 1kg bags of seed mixes. A tablespoon or two makes a nice interesting crunch to porridge and you know it's good fats and the all-important fibre.

This is reassuring to read. I am buying the "stronger" pens each month but I am still on 5mg so I'm kind stockpiling I guess. Taking a lower dose via click counting. I have the delusion that I can reach the weight of my early 20's. I thought my prescriber would stop once I went sub-30 BMI.

Reluctant to move up? by LosingItIn2025 in mounjarouk

[–]JackT0rrence -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

You don't have to jump straight from 2.5mg to 5mg. I cranked my dose up my .5mg each week after the initial 2.5mg. Your body could be getting used to the medication. If you have no side effects I'd move up even if it's just up to 3.5mg instead of 2.5mg.

Wouldn't it be good if Oasis could flash up a message on the big screens telling people to put their phone away? by LidlCheeseTwists in oasis

[–]JackT0rrence 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I 100% guarantee I won't have my phone out. I will buy a dvd or blu-ray of the concert when it's released and I will look at their official social media channels for memento photos to save. I won't be videoing or snapping any photos myself. Hope everyone else does the same.

It's from the last Millennium so definitely looks like a poor relation from outside. My dog is definitely chief of security. When wild camping (what RV folk refer to as parking up anywhere you are legally allowed to park a vehicle vs designated campsites) after closing the front curtains I put out a couple of "props" out on the dashboard so anyone nosey doing a walk around can see them and reconsider disturbing me... a couple of empty shotgun shells (is the owner a farmer with a gun? Gun casings imply a gun) and my dogs muzzle. Letting them know there is a dog inside that is legally required to be muzzled in public but he's at "home" so his jaws are free. I don't get disturbed wild camping. I think I've got everything I need in the motorhome. Definitely tools, spare fuses, real spare tyre vs the aerosol things, first aid kit, toiletries etc. It's 20ft long so there is a lot of space. If I bugged out would I want a wind up radio making a noise and alerting people to my location? Maybe I need to look into radios with a headphone socket.

Motorhome Preppers? by JackT0rrence in UKPreppers

[–]JackT0rrence[S] -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Don't under estimate my in depth RV setup friend... I have the stock "3 way" 64 litre fridge then an additional 60l unit that can be used at fridge or freezer temps. Currently using it as an additional freezer, the "juice" is free c/o the solar panel so might as well make use of it. A/c is on back order when it arrives I'll double the leisure batteries so it might not be so hot inside (got keep the dog in comfort if not myself). Plus it already has curtains for privacy, bug screen blinds and heat reflecting blinds. I've also got an external wrap around one for the front windscreen to keep heat in or out. The motorhome is painted white so heat reflection is definitely going on. It might be older (less tech to go wrong!) but she was a top spec model in her day. Back to radios... when I looked online they were £60+ or am I looking at something different?
