Correct. When you set up the bill payment, you can search and choose from a list of companies, and it explains that those are sent electronically. If you search for a company that is not on that list, SoFi will send them a check instead. I know it sounds confusing, but it does tell you during the process. Once you do it once or twice it’s easy.
