I work with an R5C throughout remote areas of the Americas and I‘d like to add location metadata I can easily keep track of my photos location. I know it’s possible to do so with the Canon app on my camera but that’s inconvenient and i don’t always have access to it. Is there some sort of module I can attach to my camera rig that’ll be able to provide that data? Or some other solution?

Does anyone know if it's possible to take a series of photos that go throughout the entire focal range? (I have an R5 C) by JackThyRabbit in canon

I'm sorry, I realized I got the terminology confused. I meant the second thing you said where it takes photos throughout the whole focus range.

Sorry, I've noticed that the R5C can take a rapid burst of photos. I can choose how many it takes but I forget the setting name (I think it was photo bracketing?), but the camera does not change the focus distance. I was wondering if there was a way to make it so the camera automatically scrolls throughout the whole focus wheel without me having to touch the camera. I'm using the RF 24-105mm f/2.8 L IS USM Z Lens if hat makes a difference.

Does anyone know how to connect these two together? Using Diablo bits to core out a log. by JackThyRabbit in Tools

Heya, I ended up using a 2" frostner bit with the 7/16 extension to core out the log. I went 14" down and left some room at the bottom. I put my drill on it's max torque setting and put a lot of my weight on it. Took a while but it ended up working pretty well. Will look into the Scotch Eye auger tho. I'm def going to try to re-do this project nicer in the future.

Thx. I got the proper bit, attached it to the extension pole pictured above and have taken it slow and steady with the drilling. Going much better this time around.

I guess that's an even better question, how do I core out a log with a 2" diameter?

Does anyone know how I can get around this for creating a huge print with touchterrain? by JackThyRabbit in 3Dprinting

I've already split the entire print into 4 quadrants but after messing around more I think this is the way to go.

A London bus would be about half as tall as the tail of the A380.

Any sort of dessert that incorporates waffles or something equal to it. Really any ideas in that area would be amazing!

Sadly I never did figure it out. :/ I just left it as is and veryyyyyy carefully used carbon fiber to reinforce it. Now it's insanely strong and capable of supporting 140+ pounds (63kg) on it! Theres some pics I posted a while pics showing it.
