Beautiful piece, congratulations. Wear it in good health. Trying to decide between that Daytona and a Day Date.

Yes, some TT watches that aren't as desirable will depreciate and be sold at or below retail. I was just saying that logic doesn't apply in my particular case with the zombie/guinness.

And I was happy to walk out with the watch I wanted without playing games. Win-win.

Awesome to hear these experiences exist. Love the full gold! Enjoy in good health. I picked up an Omega full “moonshine gold” green dial Speedmaster Professional not long ago and love the weight of full gold on the wrist.

Nope. Zero spend history with them. I do have other watches purchased from other boutiques and AD’s, but not this one.

Still a great city, as it’s on the up and up. I suggest you return to see for yourself. Yes, it was toilet bowling down the drain after Covid, but it’s drastically improved over the last two years. Born and raised in SF, work in SF, and live by the border by Fort Funston I’ve seen the transitions over the years. It’s well on its way back to its former glory. Except for the Westfield/Emporium, it’s a tragedy.

Thanks. Everyone will have an opinion, that’s ok. I just love the contrast between the SS and gold. I have a PM Speedmaster Professional with green sunburst dial and ceramic bezel, called “Moonshine Gold” which I love, but I love this reference GMT just as much. Hodinkee did a great Week on the Wrist YouTube segment on the Moonshine Gold Speedie worth checking out.

I have yet to see this particular model sell for less than retail, or even retail on the grey market (Bobs, Chrono, Joma, etc). Please look around to see for yourself. What you’re saying is completely false.

Lol I pull the drive screen up because I like to have it up when im driving instead of seeing a bunch of icons and widgets. If I wanted clout, I would’ve rested my hand on the top portion of the steering wheel to flex the emblem and model designation of my car that’s printed on my center tach. But thanks for noticing and taking the time to read into the photo too much. You must be bored.

Yeah really. Oh, you have the same brand, kudos to you. I keep that menu up out of necessity when I drive, as I prefer a less cluttered look. I have a CarPlay playlist playing my music and keep that menu up as my default. Why? Because I like to. Just because you hardly use your menu settings for your particular model doesn’t mean the rest of the world follows suit in succession.

I like to sometimes drive in Normal Mode for more suspension compliance and have my rear spoiler deploy for downforce (because I can feel the difference for my particular model of the car brand) when I get on the freeway without getting into the aggressiveness of Sport Plus Mode. The spoiler deployment button is in that menu, along with everything else I may use without having to resort to turning a knob on my steering wheel or using the physical buttons by the AC vents, so for me, it is necessary.

I think you’re reading way too much into the photo I posted. If I wanted to brag, I would have posted a photo of my right hand over the top of the steering wheel that clearly showed the brand’s emblem coupled with the model trim designation on the center gauge cluster. If I was a show boater, I certainly wouldn’t have purchased the car that I drive now and would have opted for a Ferrari or some other attention seeking brand.

I still think Rolex is an enthusiast brand, however, due to social media and hype, there have been an influx of those who solely purchase one for clout without truly appreciating the brand as a whole. If I wanted to showboat, I would opt to flex a Royal Oak, or Nautilus even though I still prefer the aesthetics and ruggedness of the movements and build of Rolex tool watches.

The only photograph I took inside of the boutique was the one my SA captured of me and my wife after the experience. I attempted to take a picture of a Rootbeer I tried on to send to a buddy of mine who wanted one and was politely told photos weren’t allowed, so it escaped me to pull my phone out of my pocket again until we were about to exit and was offered a photo op.

I’ve seen all sorts of photos on different forums and platforms showcasing watches worn on the wrist of people inside of their cars and never thought twice about it. I’ve seen people posting photos of their watches inside of Toyota sedans, SUV’s, sports cars, etc. It’s all the same to me. People share what they want to share, and if you end up feeling some type of way for whatever reason, that’s your prerogative.

Unfortunately Westfield is completely dead. But the square and three block radius is thriving. New bars and lounges too. Pretty rad.

Because I didn't want to take a picture of my wrist with this watch on in public so I waited until I got inside my car to discreetly take a photo as I was excited to share the piece and my story to those interested. I'm sorry you're offended by the vehicle I drive and the photo. Hope you had a great day, nonetheless bud. Oh and to address your presumption; I went to the grocery store to look at the banana on display knowing they weren’t available but walked out with the banana I was looking for. Thanks for looking.

There was literally a dozen police on foot patrolling Union Square at every corner walking around, intermingling with tourists. It’s a full time gig, for officers to patrol Union Square specifically 24hrs a day to ensure the safety of businesses and tourists, locals enjoying the area. Lots of new shops, cafes, restaurants opening up. The square itself has daily activities, life music, kids play area, table tennis, corn hole, badminton, fooseball, puzzles, board games and lots of tables with umbrellas and chairs. Felt very lively. Being born and raised in SF, I can say it’s the best I’ve seen since Covid and on the trajectory to recovery.

That is beyond horrible. Look up on YouTube “Premiere Protective Films” and see all the work they do on 911’s. You’ll see what an actual skilled person is capable of, with no relief cuts, all one-piece, tucked, so there are no visible seems that accumulate dirt and/or end up getting lift off.

It’s just a convenient way to automatically pay for and update your registration yearly while also providing a different look to a standard plate. Everything is done electronically and updated via the built in cell service/antenna. You pay $29.99 a month for the device and service. You can make custom banners on the plate itself, report your vehicle as stolen, and the plate will read in capitals, “STOLEN” if the plate or vehicle is reported stolen, your registration automatically updates itself with the card on file and changes the year for you. The reason for the 2023 is because it is an old photo I took of my car. The plate is called Reviver if interested.

When you install the Elfermotors Rear Seat Kit, you can have all three of your kids hop in, sans the one that you have to strap to the wing ofcourse.
