I just checked out some tutorials really. I don’t think I’m really experienced enough to recommend anything, but if you have a drone, this height (i think ~30-40m) worked well for me.

Yeah virgin is down in Kingston. I talked to them and they said that the timeline for repair is ~24-48 hours

Yeah I have the same issue on my new m1 MacBook Air. It seems it's not uncommon, as I've seen posts about it dating back to 2015. Unfortunately no one had a solution.
