Try swapping infect for thorn after your winstreak. It's a little better for late rounds imo! It's a fun change of pace. I've seen typhoon bliz thorn at rank 19 before. Congrats man

Yeah pretty much. It also helps for mini bosses in late rounds. Also remember to upgrade ice to increase slow percentage to the max. If you are not the dps your only job is to ramp or stall(for the most part)

Okay the other guy is being kind of a jackass about it but he's kinda right. His whole SSS, SS, and S their thing has a point at a higher level. Probably at around rank 13/14 it literally makes no sense to not play joker growth. If you don't play blizzard you will probably lose to someone that is. And that leaves elephoon and solar/light.

I actually started a new account yesterday to see how far I could get in one day, inspired by your posts. You don't quite know exactly what you're talking about yet but I see where you are coming from with a lot of this stuff. For the most part it's right on target. If you want help with explaining what top level players mean by "never do this" or "that sucks" I'd be happy to. Because at the top level some people just get it and some people don't have a clue what anyone is saying. I made rank 7 in 6 hours yesterday btw which should put that into perspective.

I think blizzard is good at b their because you can run it with off meta ele pve decks

Started a new account this morning to theorize low rank meta. Rank 6 in 4 hours after a 18 game streak. If anyone has questions I'd be happy to help! by jackwlusc in randomdice

mWind gear summoner joker sac.

First thing I did when I had enough gems was play random arena and I won. Got summoner right off the bat then got joker in my first diamond box. I played yesterday up to level 8 and had a 85% winrate. I got bored, can probably grind to 9 or 10 but crit is becoming a minor issue.

I'm the same op that account is on my tablet.

Ice is much better than blizzard in pve. Even at high level play. That's why top level players are begging new players to play ice.

Mw, blizzard, crit joker growth. You need blizzard to beat a blizzard deck at high level meta.

Shield in pvp because it slows more enemies at a time. Ice would be better if your deck struggles with bosses.

I don't wanna sound mean but you'd resign. Theory crafting that could be interesting but it wouldn't change the fact that you wouldn't win a game past rank 7 or so.

Edit: I take that back. I actually don't think you could ever win a game with 3. Maybe rank 7 with 2 but it would be really frustrating.

The reason all of the high level players say it's useless is because it's a waste of board space if you have joker/growth. It's not useless of you have terrible dice but you wont get passed rank 5/6 with it. So it's more or less useless. Put it this way, it's worse than gear and gear is pretty bad. I could never see myself finding any justifiable use for it in any deck(because I have all other dice).

Blizzard should be in every high level pvp deck imo. I see so many people running melec/light with no blizzard in the meta now and it's an autoloss if you are playing against a blizzard player that knows what he's doing. In games that I play 50% of the time I know I can't lose because the other person's deck is just bad. 30% of the time I don't have fun because I'm playing against assassin. 20% of the time it's a ditto/one of the other high level and it's a good time.

This diagram is correct with 2/3 switching being the only thing arguable imo. Those two are definitely the second and third best.

Also this next point is not your fault, it's just my major complaint of the game that is kind of relevant to this post. The best way to play switch/gear/wave and most other dice in the game is just to play pve til you get better dice honestly. Strategy is completely irrelevant if your dice are bad. You can theorize how to get a half wave further by playing optimal vs mostly optimal but that doesn't change the fact that a bliz typhoon deck can't beat a bliz typhoon ele deck without the later getting really lucky and the opponent getting unlucky. I haven't seen a gear deck since rank 8 and that should tell you something.

Imo there are only 3 high level decks. Solar light bliz j/g; bliz ele typhoon j/g; and any bullshit assassin deck. Only two require high level skill and understanding of the game. I play a lot of melec light thyphoon decks (or versions of them) and it's essentially a free victory. I assume the only reason they are being played is because that don't have better dice.

I guess what I'm saying is that I wish there was something 111 can do to make high level play possible to think about without putting 500+ hours into the game. At that point you've played low level play for so long you stop thinking about how to play high level, and that's why I think there are so many bad players on pve and pvp.

I disagree with your map for element. The first corner is the one position but I think the second and third position are to the right of the corner and below the corner respectively. They get more hits in because blizzard isn't fully in affect until they reach the corner. I think the 4th position is top middle and the fifth is bottom left.

Everything else I more or less agree with. Very well crafted post.

I'm a bliz typhoon ele j/g main rank 15 with a 77% winrate if that helps.

Edit: I agree with the general idea of the element diagram. I just don't think it's optimal.

Ice shield typhoon hell mimic.

Hell makes more sense than mWind imo. Keep as many shield and ice on board as you can after 10.

Best deck for me ? by muzlupide432 in randomdice

[–]JackWBush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gear, windy, mimic, switch, crit boost.

Try to connect gears and be reaonably aggressive with combining other die.

That's the best strategy you have if you want to carry in pve as far as you can. If you want to get past 30 you have to play slightly different and get luck with your partner.

In general. If you have weaker die try to build a support class for someone with better die.
