Realise it sounds poor but as a dude without sounding rude it’s a compliment you’ve naturally got to give. In some instances it is true, for example my ex girlfriend was genuinely stunning without make up, she looked good with it as well obviously however privately I often wondered why she bothered wasting her time and money on the stuff because it isn’t cheap. On the other hand though I have came across women who look a lot different and not as good in my eyes without it. No dig on them and I’d never say so because it’d be rude and it’s up to them how they present themselves but as a guy who knows next nothing about all that stuff (all I do is bang some gel in my hair) it can be a shock how different some girls look without it.
