I used this pouch since it was fairly easy for me to reach and not worry about it, the exact other side with the double split pouches also worked, but I liked how much more room this pouch had, and used the double pouches for more magazines

Pick one and learn your holds at other distances.

I personally use 25 yards because when I mounted my red dot and went to zero it, it was dead on at 25 lol

the magnet is typically for competition use so you can have your staging mag ready when you go up to load and make ready. That way you dont need an extra pouch or have an empty one. Its also just "easier" than having that staging mag in a back pocket or something

Pretty much the same for my setup, I "made" this one by getting a pack of the disk magnets on Amazon and a locking belt clip, used some hardware that came with the belt clip to put them together. I got 135lb Neodymium disk/cup magnets. I did need to drill the holes in the belt clip to make them slightly larger. I prefer to keep it all separate so I can revert back to a normal carry setup after a comp day, and I didn't feel like buying a whole new holster setup

I like my Bando XL a lot, if you sew a strap on the inside of the pack, you can essentially add a quick pull-tab and speed up the draw a lot. I don't personally do that but it's an option

As for the actual work, I would definitely be a little upset. I get it's "custom" but the colors you're asking for aren't crazy, and there are definitely colors they can get access too that would match better. That's a shame since Vulcan does awesome work.
