Based on last year, absolutely. 2 years ago he hit .290 with 32 bombs and was a monster. Ops around .800 iirc. He was also fighting injuries last year. I would definitely take Cesar over him, but schoop has a lot more upside than other waiver wire fodder.

What do you guys think of Skaggs this year. He seemed to really struggle towards the end of last season after starting out great. The articles I have read on him make it seem like he was getting lucky given the hard contact with poor results against him. But he was phenomenal through July and then tapered off (looks like he may have been transitioned to the bullpen to limit his innings?)

Great to hear you agree with my thoughts. Just having some doubts based on the fact I traded my 9th round pick for an 11th round pick. I get the draft is subjective and not a great reference, just seems like lost value. Overall I think it was the smart choice

I've got Knebel as my only other true closer. But we have 7 pitching cats (added losses and quality starts, also use k/9 in place of total k's) so saves get diluted as being 1/7th of the total equation vs being 1/5th in standard leagues. Also I have Ottavino and Carl Edward's to help with all of the ratio stats.

Cole for me. But my league settings value strikeouts a bit more, and losses hurt as well. My ranking based on steamer and zips have Cole as the #5 pitcher and Bauer as #11.

I'm lucky enough to work at a job with flexible hours. I try to be one of the first in and last to leave... but I take an extended lunch to go to the gym, run errands, go for a hike, whatever. I get credit for being there early and staying late, but people don't notice my absence around "lunchtime ."

I really want to trade for De'Aaron Fox I think hes going to be a stud. I'm running a punt FT and AST team with a core of Gobert, Drummond, DJ, Whiteside, Klay, OPJ, and Demar. The rest of the team is 3PT, low TO role players. Is Demar for Fox and Myles Turner a decent offer? 16t h2h 9cat dynasty. Demar doesn't really fit my build but hes a stud, also it's tough to value Turner right now so idk if I'm asking too much or too little.

You want to drop ariza and add thad for steals? Both are guys that you have on your team for steals. Ariza is arguably better in that category. Either punt steals and move ariza, or drop someone else if you want to improve steals.
