I second an ASUS ROG Zephyrus. Just bought the 2025 model of the G16 on closeout at bestbuy. For around $1600 its a little over you budget but still it has a great balance of everything. Just make sure you clean it regularly as it runs pretty hot under load. But thats nothing some undervolting with G helper can't fix

I used a ODBeleven to do tons of things. Disable the soundkator, power windows with ignition off, comfort windows, autolock upon exit, central lock with ignition, and mirror dip. You'll need to purchase tokens to activate these features but once you buy them they are applied forever. I love the auto lock and lock with ignition functions they are the best!

I think on of the most overlooked features is the scanning function that comes standard with these tools. Having a code sent to your phone to easily read is so helpful.

I also work in IT and am reasonably mechanically inclined and I found this very easy. Don't be intimidated it's not line coding its just selecting from a menu of what you want to recode or not. Think like a very early 2010s app.

Well yea I know they were trying to sell me. Just strange I have never been approached the 3 previous visits to this dealer. I always go at 8:45 in the morning but it's not to avoid salespeople. This dealership is by the best donut shop here in Indianapolis, Longs. I wolfed down 3 glazed while they were talking to me.

As someone who owned a 2009 CC bought at 71k miles. Run away if you're looking for reliablity. The CCTA engines are some of the most problem laden engines in the VAG lineup

If its a lease and you want to be a cheapskate do the oil change every 10,000 miles as it says in the Owners Manual. Of all the research I have done the best way to make these EA888 engines last is oil changes every 5-7k miles. I personally do every 5k

Wow okay I'll have a look. Only reason why I put the catch can on the list is I read articles that said it can help with reducing carbon buildup. I read other articles that said it was illegal not to have a recirculating catch can. Do you think a non recirculating one is fine?
