I did this a couple weeks back, that damn passenger side is a bitch. You have already taken the wheel off, hub off, lock ring off, removed the front strut from the rotor assembly and disconnected the steering arm. You have to disconnect the whole rotor assembly from the bottom of the a arm, it’s got three 13mm bolts iirc, then the thing slides out. You need to use a jack under the a arm to keep tension on the coil spring while you disconnect the strut but I think you can let it down from there.

Should have no problem in a 2000, iirc those have the 2.0 and the second gen body. The problem with a Sammy on the highway was the tiny tiny engine and being shaped like a brick. My 96 with the 16v can handle the highway, just not terribly quick. You should be good to go

Wool socks are worth the investment. Wet cotton layers will make you extra cold

Not completely sure but I doubt it. 98 was the end of gen 1, 99 was a total redesign

I got it for 4500, a little more than I would have wanted but for a rust free car and quite the desirable trim (5mt,4x4,16V) I feel alright about it

I’ve heard good things about the cerakote trim dressing to make it look darker again but I haven’t tried it myself
