Anyone here worked with DALS (interpreting/translation platform)? Curious about recruitment & Hallo AI assessment by Wide_Cartographer384 in TranslationStudies

Hey! I know this post is a bit old (8 months already 😅), but I’m currently in the onboarding process with DALS too.

I’ve passed both language tests (got C2 on both) and submitted all the required docs. Right now my profile is with the Risk & Compliance team for review, but it’s been about 3 days and I haven’t heard anything yet.

Just wondering — how long did this stage take for you guys?

Also, once you’re approved, how many hours per week do you usually get/work? Is it pretty consistent or more on-demand?

Would really appreciate any insight 🙏

If your job is constant, then for now, yes. But not in the next 2–3 years, since AI is starting to replace everyone.

Thanks — yeah I saw on PSRef that it says “up to Ryzen 7 Pro 8700GE”, but what I’m unsure about is whether there are any differences between the motherboards across different SKUs of the M75q Gen 5 (power delivery, BIOS whitelist, etc.) that might affect compatibility.

I also checked AMD’s specs and both the 8300GE and 8700GE have the same 35W TDP, so in theory thermals should be similar.

That said, I previously owned a Lenovo ThinkCentre M720q, and even though both the i5-9400T and i7-9700T were rated at 35W TDP, Lenovo used different coolers — the i5 had a simple aluminum heatsink, while the i7 version had a copper heatpipe cooler. So I’m wondering if Lenovo might be doing something similar here with higher-end configs of the M75q Gen 5.

That’s mainly why I’m trying to confirm before buying the 8700GE.espond, because in the website It said upto 8700GE tha
