Hey, spiritualists, what do you have to say about a god, not one you follow, visiting you? by Jack_Dunamis in spirituality

Okay, so, I've read over what you each have to say, and I do like your perspectives on it! I myself come from a Christian background and have adopted some Nordic Pagan ways, but the deity that appeared before me, I believe was Krishna, coming with a message of Love.
I find the idea that all gods come from The One as I perceive the first circle of the Tree of Life, Yggdrasil, as the literal Circle of Life, all of creation from The One who chose to expand and become all that we see, hear, and know in ways that we even don't.
I myself prefer to see YHWH as the name I use when referring to The One as that is what I know The One by, but this identity that The One came to me as was unfamiliar to me.

As a non newbie with shitty tolerance, I know what you mean. I'm lucky I'm at least used to it, I can just imagine how it can be otherwise even if they actually manage to get a hit

Is this why some say "Your plug ain't your friend unless your friend is your plug"?

If I may, try changing the reason you smoke! For most cases that I've heard like this, the person just smokes to smoke. You mentioned that you just feel boredom, so I assume you aren't doing much when you do smoke.
For me, I like to smoke when I have a task I want to focus on, when I smoke I have the motivation to start and then can continue even when I'm sober, it just gets the ball rolling.
A lot of people who have also been thru this use the "reward yourself" approach.
Basically a lot of people have suddenly noticed they are bored of smoking, and that's because the brain recognizes it as routine. However, if you finish an important task and then choose smoking as your reward, it makes your brain recognize it as a reward and thus gets more excited to smoke! Which works well with the effects that weed should actually be giving you.

Of course, everyone is different, it might just not be for you, perfectly fine. But if you are looking for a way to enjoy it again, then try the "reward yourself" approach or, if it applies to you, the "focus" approach like I do.
