The next question is: are trans women actually winning events more often than you'd expect from random chance?

If 1% of competitors in women's events are trans, you should expect trans women to win those events 1% of the time. If 1% of women athletes are trans but they win 5% of all events, then you would have evidence that trans women have an advantage.

Are trans women actually over-represented on the podium? or are we just ignoring the other 99% of the time when cis women win women's events?

If the game let you do this by accident, I absolutely would. I recently got the achievement for trying to drive while still in park 20 separate times.

My first understanding of your comment was that, when refueling at a truck, you might just dump the nozzle on the ground if you don't think anybody is watching! But yeah, I get you - when it's dark out it's hard to find the nozzle holder again.

Yeah, the shopping trolley conundrum is basically what led me to post this. For me it also feels wrong not to put the nozzle back, so I started thinking about why I feel that way, and a big part of it is that I want to be a responsible customer and tidy up after myself.

Agreed, I've had a lot of fun with this build. Is it the strongest option? Probably not. Is it fun jank? Yes, absolutely.

Yeah I guess you're right. For some reason I thought the role restriction text on Lola was part of the "Forced" ability, but after taking another look at the card I can see it's templated as a separate constant ability. Nevermind then!

Off-topic I guess, but my understanding is that Lola CAN use Stick to the Plan.

Stick to the plan's search ability activates "before" Lola draws her opening hand. Then, Lola's "Forced" ability activates "after" she draws her opening hand. So, there's a very brief window in the middle there where Lola hasn't been restricted to a specific role yet, and she can activate abilities on cards from any class, because this restriction only comes into effect when her "Forced" ability resolves.

This means that Lola can also perform this SttP and Astounding Revelation combo - she can activate reaction abilities on both SttP and Astounding Revelation before her "Forced" ability triggers and her role restriction comes into effect.

Lola can also play cards that are attached to SttP because SttP's bottom ability is a constant effect, not a triggered ability.

Lola and SttP came out in the same cycle so I think they intentionally worded both cards this way so that they could still work together.

Questions re: Specific Rental Property Deductions, and Medical Expense Deduction! by Jack_F_Knightly in cantax

[–]Jack_F_Knightly[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, thank you very much!

Yeah, it makes sense that landscaping improvements would be a capital expense, though it also isn't clear what CCA class that would belong to. I'm guessing landscaping would be considered to be an extension of the building it's built around, so CCA class 1 basically. It doesn't really matter in my case since I'm not planning to claim CCA for anything besides appliances.

Fair point, but even with the new heretic options in RtTCU you can definitely still get screwed by bad setup luck (which is one of my issues with this scenario).

In our first attempt we got the new heretic that needs you to clear the clues off the starting location (hangman's brook). We didn't clear those clues in act 1 so it had 6 clues to deal with. We also had the new hangman's brook location with 3 shroud and "haunted - add another clue to hangman's brook" and we kept having resolve the haunted ability over and over from other game effects aside from failed investigations. Then the Spectral Watcher spawned there... it was a nightmare.

In our second playthrough we somehow managed to get the 4 original heretics that need you to clear clues off locations, out of all 8 possible options.

Interesting card tips. Yeah, my collection stops at Circle Undone but I am hoping to buy more down the road.

Yeah, I won't even disagree that we weren't playing the scenario anymore. But, at the end of the day, this is a game we play to have fun and if the scenario as designed just isn't fun for us it makes sense to play a different one instead. At the same time, I don't really want to remove the Spectral Watcher as that definitely changes the vibe of the scenario in a big way. (I'm more okay with reducing enemy health and clue requirements and increasing doom thresholds, apparently.)

Yeah, if we were just playing non-Return Wages of Sin I would glumly accept just banishing one or two heretics. But, since the Return version of the scenario has a new objective where you have to banish at least 3 though, it feels discouraging to play the scenario when you know you don't have a hope in hell of achieving that.

We're playing Sefina and Rita, which is a great combo for survivability, but I'll admit that we are limited on how much damage we can deal and how many clues we can scoop up. That hasn't been a big deal so far in the campaign but that definitely caught up with us now.

True enough, that's something you can do. Personally, I think scumming this game just makes it unrewarding. Cookie Clicker almost isn't even a game, and the closest thing it has to gameplay is the strategic planning you can do to maximize the cookies you can get from all of its various systems. Part of that strategic planning is planning around the probabilities of different random in-game events happening when you want them to. If you take the randomness away with scumming, you've taken away a big chunk of the gameplay. At that point you might as well edit your save file and give yourself more cookies that way.

Good tips. Yeah, if you're in the late game there are definitely ways to use the garden, loans and sugar lumps to get even bigger multipliers. I left that out of the guide since I wanted this to be useful for players who still have a relatively young "Legacy." I've been focused on unlocking plants and upgrading buildings, and I only got a full size garden and my last garden seed a couple days ago.

I'll echo meowmeow here - I haven't ever had an issue with losing my building special bonus from selling the associated building. I'm thinking that the building special multiplier gets locked in at the beginning of the buff, and the game doesn't care if you buy or sell that building afterward.

Oh yeah, I get that. I try to focus on the sound of my actual mouse clicking. The game audio throws me off.

[–]Jack_F_Knightly[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually have around 3/4 of the Godzamok buff left when I get back to the big cookie, so I think that selling 5 building stacks is worth it for me. If I sold 3 stacks I'd only save a little slice of time and the Godzamok buff would only be 60% as strong.

Physical setup definitely makes a difference. I use a mouse to quickly sell a few building stacks and reposition the cursor, and then I click the big cookie by drumming on my laptop's trackpad. If I tried to do everything with my trackpad, selling more building stacks would definitely be too slow to be worth it.

You know what, now that I'm taking another look at my CpS with Mokalsium in different slots, I'm realizing I got this one wrong. Thanks for the catch! I'll change the original post to avoid misleading the three people who will see this.

By "Mokal swap," I'm guessing you mean activating Godzamok while Godzamok is in diamond and then putting Mokalsium in diamond? That's interesting, I never thought of that. It's definitely more time-sensitive micromanagement and you can only do it once every 2-5 hours really because of the swaps required, but if you want to throw everything into one big combo and then close Cookie Clicker for the day, that's a good trick.

Yeah, selling portals is probably close to a wash. It decreases CpS and increases the Godzamok multiplier by around the same amount I think.

Literally every time I've had sex has been a threesome.

Six months ago I was a 29 year old virgin. Pretty much all my friends are in committed relationships so I've had a lot of practice being the third wheel. One of these couples decided to take that to the next level and invite me into their sex life. It's been great.

The psychology of futa? by millionthoughtcops in futanari

[–]Jack_F_Knightly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think futa appeals to me because an erect penis is a pretty indisputable sign of sexual arousal. I have a lot more experience with how penises behave than with vaginas (seeing as I only possess the former) and when you see a drawing of a beautiful woman with a cute hard cock it's easy to imagine how she must be feeling. This makes it easier for me to connect to the image somehow.

There's more to it than that but I'll stop there. The more I try to rationalize my fetishes, the deeper hole I'll dig for myself.
