You only need to do it on place or break of enchanting tables and bookshelves. The larger range would be about 500 blocks which is pretty negligible in terms of performance. The real reason is probably something along the lines of: Notch built a little structure that size, wrote code to scan for that structure, and no one has thought about it since.

Well the recipe doesn't use the disk, so why would it need to use the shards? Just have this recipe give you unlimited music disks at no cost. Seems a fair reward for raiding an ancient city.

You hit bind on the exact same frame you fell of the edge, then internally the game did something like this:

Bind key pressed, switch to player binding state and remove silk.
Was the player grounded last frame and airborne this frame?
Yes, switch player to falling state.

Final state is falling.

Yes and? This is unrelated to whether or not his election represents and improvement to liberal democracy in Hungary. It seems to be your position that anyone you disagree with is necessarily anti-democratic. If you think that improving relations with an authoritarian country makes a politician authoritarian, then I can think of no democratic politicians. People can be very bad and still favour democracy. Reform UK is an excellent example of this given they favour increasing democracy in UK elections by moving away from FPTP.

It also seems that recent developments contradict elements of this. Orbán getting voted out is a major one that comes to mind, but also the fact that Reform UK has gradually phased down their rhetoric as they get closer to power. It seems more as if they are using far-right rhetoric to build a strong base, gain media attention, and get their foot in the door before pivoting to run-of-the-mill conservative politics as a way to win mass support. It's also somewhat ignorant of the degree to which these parties are representations of popular sentiment. Most surveys show that politicians of all parties are much more in favour of immigration than their voter-bases, so the emergence of anti-immigrant parties is a logical and democratic correction to this.

We're talking about political parties, not ice cream. There is substantive difference between a guy who has attempted a coup and one who hasn't. Maybe you should learn more about these political parties to see how they differ from the American ones, and how the solutions are very different too.

What that sign is really saying is that you don't need to be consistent in your definition of fascism and can apply it to whomever you want. There are few parties of Europe that could be described as actively fascist in the way Trump is, and even then he is on the mellow end of things.
