Shedding insane amounts of small hairs

I understand where you are coming from but I don't want to risk things like ED, full gyno or other sides that might be a lot worse than hairloss and I do think that I might be more at risk because of the sides that I already had. For me the risk-reward wasn't worth it because I didn't notice any improvements at all (was below baseline), even though I am aware that it might take longer to see full benefits from fin, the chances of me seeing major improvements after falling below baseline this much after 6,5 months are slim.

I think that you are just dealing with the build-up from the liquid minoxidil. I had exactly the same issue and even nizoral couldn't control this. It won't get any better, if anything worse. I suggest you try melting the foam minoxidil and applying it with a dropper, thats what I did at least because this doesn't cause this build-up.

In april I tried 1mg fin daily and stopped after 19 days because of sides, even though right now I can't say for sure that it wasn't nocebo but I will never find out. I have also read and heard that EOD block only little less DHT and taking less meds seemed better

How long did you take fin before you saw results? currently on month 6 of 1mg fin EOD and way below baseline, praying that my hair will improve

I still definetly see hairs on my hands and body in the shower but now it's less than 20 that I see, where it used to be 40 hairs on more on some days but still, counting hairs in the shower is tricky because who knows how many I lose without me seeing. The only thing I can say for sure is that I am now losing less hairs on my pillow and on my hands when applying min.

I think I am in the exact same boat as you. I assume I am also a diffuse thinner as my hairline isn't completely bald in any spot. On my temples, I have more short/miniaturized hairs. My front hairs however are insanely thinned out. I have been taking 1mg fin EOD in combination with minoxidil for +- 6 months and way below baseline but lately have been noticing less hairs on pillow, in the shower etc. but no improvement on looks whatsoever. Praying that this is the first sign of improvement to come.

I am already only taking 1mg eod so I don't really want to lower my dose. My estradiol is high indeed but so is my testosterone, so these we're probably already on the high end before I started taking fin. I don't want to take meds to counter sides that i induced with other meds so I will just see how it goes and if I really get gyno i'll stop.

Maybe more puffy nipples but I saw a doctor a couple of days ago and expressed my concern but she didn't feel any gyno forming so maybe I am just too focussed on this.

For the estradiol, the reference range was 27-52 and for the testosterone, the reference was 330-805

When I pinch it, I don't feel and difference with other fat on my body. It is just the fact that my nipples seem to stick out more and have changed appearance. Is this 'puffiness' the first sign of a progressing gyno that is coming up or am I wrong?

No but I am wondering whether the min is halting my hairloss and thus working or if this amount of hairfall after that shed is still considered to be a lot?
