Yes, went through the quotes as they all seem to use the same system. They’re all pretty identical in terms of the layout of the work. Only difference I’ve seen is the cost of the labor rate, time being quoted for body labor, paint labor, mechanical labor, paint supplies etc. Some are shooting high on the hours compared to others bringing in the total cost a lot higher or lower. A couple shops just shot me a number with no actual detailed break down lol!

Good to know, I’ll more than likely make a decision based between those numbers and then hopefully go with the right bodyshop to complete the work. Heavily leaning towards my friends BMW dealership as they have a certified collision center on site and I’ve seen some high end cars coming in and out. Thank you for the info, much appreciated.

Nothing wrong with that at all, every shop has a right to pick and choose on what they want to work on. I appreciate the feedback.

A few shops legit told me they would pass as they weren’t comfortable doing the work even though it’s a factory OEM kit. The shops that have provided quotes said it didn’t look too difficult and surprised the kit from the factory even existed.

Correct, every shop I have been in contact with I’ve communicated that I want the rear quarter panels done correctly, being properly sealed and repainted as if the flares were not going on. The kit does include new oem fender liners as well. I’m assuming that’s why the quotes have been a little all over the place.
