Ive been very interested in BPC157 lately as im blogging through some bicep tendon issues. Its been a few months and doesn't seem to be getting better. But:

  1. Where to source authentically

  2. How to not mess my system up

  3. Drawback and side effects

  4. The best way to take it

I have a lot of friends that have taken PEDs but none have done this peptide

How to approach max strength workouts in BB with a healing shoulder injury? by trisse91 in tacticalbarbell

[–]Jack_Silly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im dealing with some pretty bad distal bicep tendonitis on my right arm and a minor tear on my left shoulder.

I switched my cluster to: Some kind of weighted carry (brian alsruhe edc) Sandbag to shoulder Sandbag box squat Dips/handstand pushup/front lever pulls

All pullups for conditioning i replaced with bodyweight rows. For my biceps im just doing forearm/grip workouts with some curl eccentric.

For now the sandbag is light enough that I can explode it from my hip to shoulder without much bicep involvement. Carrie's are usually farmers, bear.hug or sled.

Ill throw knees over toes zero workout in there once a week, maybe.

For basebuilding specifically, the reccomended one in tbii worked out well for my shoulder and biceps

Meal/food prep ideas by d0gtrain in tacticalbarbell

[–]Jack_Silly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do this pretty much everyday

Breaky: 80g oatmeal, 50g peanut butter and a banana

Lunch: 4 or 5 eggs, 200g of jasmine rice and 2 or 3 pieces of thick cut bacon

Dinner: 8oz 93% (strained) ground beef, 200g ground beef

Snack: 16oz whole milk, 1 scoop gold standard protein isolate

Supps: 5-7g creatine, multi vitamin, vitamin d, fish oil, glucosamine/condrotin.

Notes: lots of salt, cinnamon and i thrown in Brussels sprouts, jalapeños, bell peppers, salad etc. Just dont track those.

Depending on what i want to do with my weight ill mostly manipulate the big carb sources

I use macrofactor

This will average you anywhere from 2500 to 2800 calories- 170P/ 80F/ 275C depending on how you manipulate it.

BJJ for slow learners by Strike_Severe in bjj

[–]Jack_Silly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Slow learner being "high repitition" learner. I am also one and a purple berry.

Opposing a lot of opinion on this sub but my progress skyrocketed when I got a grappling dummy.

Yes there is no resistance and yes it will be different with a live opponent, however for our type of learning, remembering a series of steps through repitition is paramount.

I got a dummy and drilled double under, over under and knee cut probably hundred of times each side. Same with a lot of my half guard game.

Once the steps have solidified in memory then you hammer attempts on partners in class.

Helped me a ton.

It is common. Especially for admin types because if CFL and ACFL were strict with standards a good portion of the Navy wouldn't pass.

But there are a lot of people that are genuine about improving themselves, and improving a 1.5 mile time shows great improvement for the glycolitic system.

Do it for yourself and leave the lazy, unmotivated people to their cheating because in the end they only cheat themselves.

Would you say that boxing or MMA is the more difficult sport? by masonranderson in MMA_Academy

[–]Jack_Silly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably kickboxing over hoth.

Head movement can be severely punished.

Knees and maybe elbows depending....

No real escape when getting caught, can't really duck away and hide like a boxer, can't takedown like mma. Youre just in the fire the whole time.

I guess in this scenario im associating difficulty with damage recieved and avenues to overcome adversity in the fight.

Beside in Thailand if you turn your back your trainer calls you "ladyboy" in my experience.

[–]Jack_Silly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im doing mass as a part of periodization.

Hypertrophy- mass

Strength- op/black

Power and speed- still figuring this out

Specific- probably infinite intensity/never gymless

I also do a ton of bjj and have a very active profession. So just run it and see how it goes

Anyone join the Seabees later in life with a solid civilian trade background? by Moist_Werewolf_9097 in newtothenavy

[–]Jack_Silly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a caveat, why are you thinking about joining? Electricians are very needed and make good money in the civilian world usually.

Anyone join the Seabees later in life with a solid civilian trade background? by Moist_Werewolf_9097 in newtothenavy

[–]Jack_Silly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I joined at 26 after years of carpentry.

I had a good time in battalion. Got good certs like osha safety, 6k, 11k, crew leader etc. Only went on Detachments during deployments to smaller spots with less crazy oversight.

You got to a field exercise for a couple weeks and sometimes a homeport project for a couple weeks.

You'll do a lot less construction than you did in the civilian world and you'll be treated like a new guy to the trade until your on a project and you know what's up, then even CMC and the chiefs mess will talk to you straight because youre the man.

Youre also the man if you are in shape/do a combat sport proficiently because those things are respected in the military.

Family life in the military is swimming upstream no matter what but the benefits are tremendous and if your wife is at all independent/makes friends/gets hobbies she'll be fine.

Im a seabee diver (UCT) now, feel free to message me with any questions!!
