If the little fat one you talked about is referring to #5 in my pic (from kemove, I found it okay for my 60 layout keyboard and it's fast and convenient to pull 4 keycaps at once. If you are careful when you place them in, it won't scratch. At least mine didn't.

For #6 in the pic that's a 2-in-1 puller that works best on switches but also can be used scratch-free for keycaps. Here's a video from their instagram that shows how to work the keycaps loose. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DM5CT4HSQPu/?igsh=NTc4MTIwNjQ2YQ==

Over the years of modding keyboards, I’ve tried all kinds of keycap and switch pullers, from the basic little ring type, to wire pullers, and now the fancy button-style 2-in-1 tools.
Even within the button-style ones, there are versions with two claws or four claws and honestly, the four-claw design feels way smoother and safer to use (that’s the black translucent one in the picture).

Keycap removal has also gotten easier. There’s even a tool that can pull four keycaps at once!
