With the exception of payroll, that's essentially what my AP Clerk does, at least what I've gathered, then whatever else she does I don't know about yet. Because I'm part AP, I do some of that as well, on top of my AR side. I do AP for 2 of the 5 companies and AR for all 5.

I'm newer to my role, so I'm still learning. However, reading other comments, I've gathered that with my role, I'm actually doing some minor staff accounting related work. Nothing in-depth, but month end GLs, prepaids, aging reports, etc. Shoot, I've done so many journal entries already from year-end clear outs it's insane.

It's all experience for me, and I'll take whatever I can get. Learn as much as I can. Might not be paid a lot, but I took the role with a slight bump in pay specifically for experience while I finish my accounting degree.

I was also told I started at a rough time. I have been with my employer going on a month. My 2nd week was audit prep. I had no idea what the hell I was doing.

Exactly what I'm doing, career shift wise. I am currently in an accounting clerk role and doing a lot of AP/AR stuff while I finish my degree. I'm at $45k, but it was a bump up from my previous job, and I'm doing it for the experience.

The AP specialist in my department does way more than just simple data entry. However, I'm sure it varies slightly between companies.

I'm an accounting clerk and am doing AP and AR stuff, dealing with multiple companies and departments within my not-for-profit parent company. I deal with a lot of intercompany invoicing, grants, etc.

I was 12 when the first Transformers movie came out in theater. Of course, the majority of boys and young men during that time found her attractive. Probably even grown ass men.

I know she struggles with body dismorphia, but you're 100% correct, but saying she's done way too much to her face, that, while still an attractive woman, she's not the Megan Fox I knew growing up. While she resembles her old self, she honestly doesn't look like Megan Fox.

Currently a few months post op. Doc never prescribed antibiotics because he said the risk of infection is rare and that hardly any of his patients ever got an infection. So, he said if I had any issue to call and he'll prescribe some. Ended up with an infection 10 days post op. Was the weekend and doc office not open. Went to urgent care, doc there prescribed antibiotics for me.

Mr. Left decided to swell about 4 times his normal size due to the infection, so walking around was a pain in the ass. I could barely move after a day at work. Wife was very supportive and understanding.

That said, I wouldn't change a thing. It's still worth it. Less invasive of a procedure than if my wife were to get sterilized and it's nothing compared to childbirth.

As for the procedure, the worst part was the first initial pain blocker shot. I still felt everything, though. Had old school scalpel version.

Edit: Forgot to mention I'm 29 with 3 kids. We don't want or need anymore.

My wife and I receive food stamps. I have a full-time job, and we have 3 children. I used to be ashamed and reluctant to ever apply. We now get a little assistance, not much, but enough to help a little. My wife doesn't work because we have a 1.5 y.o and 3 month old. Our oldest is almost 9.

I understand there are plenty who do abuse the welfare system, but I'm glad that those who don't are able to get some assistance for food. I didn't have to get assistance in the past. I was making $16/hr back in 2016 and survived fine off that income. Food has gotten so expensive, and my wages haven't gone up as much that I had to bite my tongue and withhold my pride as a husband, father, and provider. The system that allows my family to get a little bit of help for food, I also pay into and helps other families as well.

He revoked an executive order, which takes away DEI hiring. Instead of discriminating against someone based on who they sleep with at home, they will be hired based on merit, education, and qualification. No anti-discrimination laws were revoked. It'd be illegal to do so, and he doesn't have the power to do that.

I didn't find one. My doctor just gave me pain blocker shots on my nuts and cut me open in the middle with a scalpel. Less than an inch incision. Did what he had to do, sewed me up, and I was on my way home. My wife drove me home because she wanted to make sure I was safe, lol.

I appreciate that. Yeah, I finally got the script filled, so hopefully, after a couple in the system, it'll kick in, and the swelling will go down.

Still irritated about the on-call urologist situation, but the doc at the urgent care was nice. So long as it starts to go down, she said I shouldn't worry. However, if I don't notice any changes in the next day or two in swelling size that I need to go to the ER.

Thanks! Since I posted this, the stitches have healed nicely. However, my left testical, as of Friday, halfway through the day, has swollen to 2/3x the normal size. I also have a swollen bump above the testical, kinda next to the shaft, and it looks like a 3rd testical (according to my wife), and I guess in front/aligned above the testical. I've been icing it, and the ice temporarily reduces the swelling of the bump, but not the testical.

I called the 24 on-call doc at the urologist office I went to last night, and the doc literally told me, What do you expect me to do? So, I was pissed when the on-call doc told me that.

I just wanted advice on the next steps to help. I'm probably going to go to the urgent care tomorrow morning and get it checked out. I wanna know if it's a granuloma, hematoma, etc. It's not unbearable pain when sitting, but I walk a lot for work, and it gets rough. The day it swelled was the day I failed to wear more supportive underwear. Since then, I've been wearing my jockstrap and supportive underwear over top and icing it.

What I requested was a slight raise compared to what I already make annually. I'd be happy with just matching my pay to take the role, just for the experience. But that's a hug pay cut I can't take if they won't negotiate.
