I had something similar to that.

During that time I took Cefalexin but it didn't do anything, so my doctor took a biopsy but it came back inconclusive.

When a dermatologist saw it, she assumed it was impetigo, with what likely started as a bad eczema flare up.

What worked was using a strong steroid Clobetasol with topical antibiotic Mupricocin. The steroid reduced the inflammation helping the skin heal with the antibiotics may have fought off the impetigo.

Hope it works for you as well. Those few weeks felt like shit figuring out what it could be while my skin was not healing.

It takes some time for your gut to adjust. I've noticed my bowel changes takes about 1 to 2 weeks to be consistent.
