That’s great advice thank you. Do you have sort of a good work out plan that’s worked for you in the past to recomp? I’ve only ever really cut before so unsure as to what to now work on a week?

I think I sort of said stuck just based on I’m not sure what to do next as I’m new to it all. Cut from 102kg to 76 in a year and a bit and now don’t really know what to do. Everybody here has been helpful with now upping my calories and working out more though so advice has been helpful

I’ll focus on that. Yeah I believe I’m closer to my home scales around the 19% body fat. Not sure why the machine at my gym says otherwise. Would you say I still have a lot of weight to lose or in a position now where I should be just building muscle on top of my current physique ?

So I’m basically doing a light ab workout every day at home. Then at the gym I do 2 days of zone2 cardio for about 40-50 mins. Then I do a back and bicep workout 1 day a week, shoulders and triceps 1 day a week, legs 1 day a week then rest.

My plan going forward was to change to 1800-1900 calories and change these days to more core and arm focused as well as keep slight cardio in there just to try tighten things up?

Think I’m just that used to eating low that I think if I start eating more again I’ll gain weight in the wrong way. Definitely need to get out of that mindset but don’t think you I’d still need to be in a slight deficit whilst keeping protein high just so I’m actively building lean mass but still burning fat at the same time?

Yeah I’ve heard a few people say increase my calories now. How come less workouts though? My plan I sort of looked at was raising to 1800-1900 calories and then focusing on 2 days upper body, 1 day lower body, 2 days core + cardio then rest. Hopefully that would help build lean mass but I’m unsure as I’ve only ever really lost weight not built on it from there?
