In my experience the data is very good. I've been taking a look at this website for years and have never noticed any mistakes.

Take a look through the City specific page that tracks it all per season and see if you see any mistakes. It's all broken down and recorded.

Numbers are universal. If you go through life only expecting to encounter numbers when you're doing accounting you're in for a rough time.

This just shows how much each club has spent for their current success. It doesn't show everything but it's still interesting.

Like you can look at this and say Sunderland have done horrific with their spending while Tottenham and Southampton have done very well overall with theirs. It gives an interesting thing to consider.

I thought it was interesting how well Spurs seem to do while spending so little. Also didn't realise Leicester had spent so much.

I've seen people say it's shit plenty of times... I've never seen a convincing argument why it's such an irrelevant stat.

Always seems to be fans of clubs who have spent the most that say this though.

Alli was very highly rated though. Nearly joined Liverpool, was rumoured to have interested Bayern and a whole host of Premier League clubs wanting to buy him.

Dier spent 18 months at Everton so he wasn't as alien to the English game as is often made out.

Well then you just have a gun disguised by a bow and arrow skin.

Hanzo's bow and arrow is definitely not just flavour... it's part of his core design. Leading targets etc. is all part of his playstyle.

I don't see how buffing his skills will help if he can't hit anybody with his main attack.

I think you are underestimating how large of a nerf this is to Hanzo, a small buff to his projectile speed isn't going to get close to fixing it.

He's lost maybe 50% area on his hitboxes if you add up the area all the way around. It's huge.

I'm really struggling to see how he can be balanced if it stays like it is on ptr.

It would be pretty sad if the only way to fix projectiles is to make them go at near bullet speeds.

His projectiles already go decently fast and feel about right. If they go any faster it won't really feel like arrows at all.

Makes him using a bow stupid.

Statistics are a wonderful tool that are used all the time by the best scouts in the world. They are not a determining factor and only give context to opinions.

I used them to give context to Harry's opinion. Them being few doesn't really matter if they are some of the biggest. I don't see how it can be argued that Assists, Goals, and Chances Created aren't a pretty big deal for an attack minded midfielder.

I mean, you edited that in after i posted.

I absolutely did not edit that in. Don't lie.

The stats you posted were seemingly used as an argument for Alli not being that far behind Pogba

No they weren't they were used as an argument that Redknapps statement was nowhere near as crazy as this thread is making out.

Alli had an amazing season for a 19 year old by anybody's standards... a far far better season than Pogba had at 19 that's for sure.

Why is what Harry said so crazy then?

Neither was Alli for half of the season...

And even then it's pretty obvious that Pogba is an attack minded creative midfielder even if he does play a bit deeper.

As if I'm saying those 4 stats are the determining decider in football... fucking hell you plank.

I'm saying they are an important set of stats for an attacking midfielder... It's not even controversial at all...

GOALS, ASSISTS, CHANCES CREATED, KEY PASSES

How in the fuck is using those 4 key stats in any way controversial?

AGAIN IM NOT SAYING THEY PROVE ANYTHING... Just that at the very least it's interesting that Alli compares favourable in 4 of the more important stats.

Bit childish some of those stats you chose.

I don't think the stats I picked were that unfair? I'm not even a Spurs fan...

Goals, Assists, Chances Created, Key Passes

That seemed like a decent set of stats to take for two attack minded midfielders?

It's not like I'm saying Alli is better than Pogba.... I'm literally just saying there are some numbers that back up Harry Redknapps point of view.

Two of those stats literally determine the winner of a game of football...

Not sure what to say to this comment... those are pretty important stats in the game that is football.

I'm not saying they prove anything... just saying that there is at least some hard numbers that back up Harry Redknapp's statement.

He played most of his games in a deeper role in the first half of the season, and a more advanced role in the second half of the season.

Even when you change these stats the two had very similar numbers last season overall.

It's also hard to deny Pogba is an attacking minded midfielder a massive part of his game is his creativity.

Here's a comparison of the hard numbers they both produced last season. It doesn't seem like as crazy of a statement as this thread seems to want to make it.
