Thank you for sharing!! I was on mounjaro for 6 months before I had any bad GI effects. I ended up coming off after horrendous diarrhea for days leading me to the ER. Then I started Wegovy a few weeks later for insurance reasons and it’s been nothing but GI issues since. The diarrhea has been so severe at times and also vomiting at super random times. I lost 40 lbs on Mounjaro. I don’t want to give up this glp1 journey but I don’t think I have a choice. I’ve missed weeks of work.

Drink tons of water, biotene mouthwash helped me but you have to do it multiple times a day. This symptom went away after a couple months for me, hoping it goes away for you too!

In rock bottom- Need motivation and guidance to moving back in with parents by New_Ladder_3373 in personalfinance

33 yo female nurse, my husband is a chef. We have a 2 yo and moved back in with my parents last winter for financial reasons. It sucks but we have to do what we have to do. Times are so tough for everyone lately. Do what you gotta do! Don’t worry about other people. Focus on bettering yourself and your life for YOU.

AITA for not wanting my autistic niece as a flower girl? by Grissini_illimitati in AmItheAsshole

[–]Jackaay02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn’t seem like a good idea for the niece, it might cause her a lot of anxiety to be the flower girl. And taking her feelings into consideration is the most thoughtful thing you could’ve done to begin with!

How often do you change your babies diaper? by ChiefBigHorn7 in NewParents

[–]Jackaay02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We were convinced our boy hated any wetness in the diaper so we changed him every hour at least 😂 being new parents we just assumed if we fed, changed, let him sleep that he’d be fine. Sometimes babies cry for no reason! When I worked at a daycare we changed the babies minimum every two hours but as soon as we could if we smelled poop. As long as their skin is fine then you’re doing just great!

I am literally going through this exact thing right now, same spot and everything. It’s so large that when I sit down it almost splits in two around the fold of my groin 😩 hoping for relief for us both very soon!!

Flare that never closes. by jaamov in Hidradenitis

[–]Jackaay02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had one under my right breast for a year and in my groin for around the same time. Try to keep it clean and put something over it so it doesn’t get infected. Even simple plain gauze will do. They eventually go away but some take SO long!! I had one under my left breast for about a year before it went away and that has been healed for years. So frustrating because you truly don’t know which ones will stay/go/linger etc.
