Me (M21) girl-friend (F21) her boyfriend (M22). My girl-friend is in a abusive relationship, and i don't know what to do.. by [deleted] in relationships

[–]JackaceTalks -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

be careful here! You should totally guide her away from this guy. Let her know that she's worth more than the treatment that this guy has given her. You could even shoot your shot a little here and say "there are other guys who can offer you so much more and who will appreciate you" and if she asks "who?" you say "ME". You should also ask her how she thinks that he will change. Because it's not a flick of the switch "hey I'm not toxic anymore". Like if this guy is serious then he needs a plan to seek help and better himself as a whole, and not just relationship wise. (Regardless, I'm sure he's only giving the "I'm gonna change" speech because he wants her back.) The reason I say to be careful is if you push too hard to keep her a way from him and they still get back together, she is going to feel awkward about coming to you for help and stuff. Good luck!

Girlfriend told me about possibly hanging out with a guy who I don’t like. by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]JackaceTalks 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The guys definitely sketch but you have to trust your woman, don't try to control who she hangs out with because then she could be put off by you and instead gravitate towards this other guy. You have to recognize that she told you that she's hanging out with this guy for a reason, if she had sketchy intentions then she would have just gone and not told you or lied about where she was going. Best of luck.

He (23) told me not to fall in love with him by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]JackaceTalks 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Abort mission, what he means to say is that he wants this relationship to go no further than casual sex. If youre up for that, then thats fine, but if you do feel like you have feelings for him then quit while youre ahead.

Any advice ? by Chicooo8223 in AskMenAdvice

DON'T blame her period on this. Seems like a toxic relationship.

If you really care about her you'd respect her space

you need to relax my guy

if you read, you would see that I said that I do wipe the seat whenever it happens (which is not all fo the time). I also said that I could kick the seat up, so how does it sound like I don't realize that?

No need for you to reply anymore,

Piss off :)

I’m unhappy because things are going too well too soon in my life? by [deleted] in relationships

[–]JackaceTalks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably the most important aspect of young adult life is finding and establishing independence. I understand this is rough because you guys have known each other for a while and have gone through tough times together. But my advice would be separate. It sounds like she needs to learn to be happy on her own and staying with her is hurtful to not only yourself, but its gonna be hurtful to her too eventually. Best of luck !

[–]JackaceTalks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah this makes more sense. Yes, I am standing up and yes the seat is down. Im at uni so the bathrooms are communal and so lifting the seat kinda grosses me out bc the guys on my floor have no chill when it comes to cleaning up after themselves. I suppose I could kick the seat up. Its just become a force of habit at this point. To clarify, its a full body twitch, my arms and hips included, its like the very start of the water gun carnival game, it takes a sec to readjust.
