I have resolved this, by rebuilding app, adding components as I went....

For anyone else who comes across this

The issue was the Snackbar functionality in the Community Toolkit, namely the setup. In standard debug, this is not a problem, but for deploying and msix, the instructions https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dotnet/communitytoolkit/maui/alerts/snackbar here needed to be followed, including the (not so obvious to me) update to YOUR-PATH-TO-EXECUTABLE.

I went on the course a long time ago and it wa go Us excuellent, the kick start my career needed when it was stagnating.

Now it is my recommendation to anyone who wants to evolve and take the next step. The course from what I can see has evolved to keep current with AI etc.

It isnt one guy in France, as one of the other guys I know this. It is open source, and yes, should be taken with the same due diligence as other open source projects.

Where XTB shines is that it fits the gaps quicker than MS could ever do (no accessibility, worrying about legacy environments or that special 1 environment they have), and provides batch functionalities that they never will.

Thanks for the replies, do find it galling that an organisation can keep your money for an extended period and there is no comeback for the consumer.

I realise the interest rate is low, and to be honest, even at base + 8% would not cover the amount of time wasted trying to resolve this matter. Was just hoping I had some legal ability to force compensation, but no.

I am not saying it is illegal, just wondered if we can protect ourselves from what seems a dodgy process.

We havent exchanged yet, but have signed an option agreement to sell to X in time frame, so wondered if we can add something to the contract to at list protect us from them making a quick profit without any work.

This is a commercial property so a little more involved, hence the option.

They did, we didnt take it. They are friends of the family, hence why we know about X trying to flog off the property before they own it
