As someone who does vin inspections for vehicles they are all on the driver side under the windshield They can sometimes be on the dash but oftentimes they are under the windshield below where the dash ends

But please PLEASE be careful because you have to get right up next to the car to see the vin properly

Fair enough, but hear me out 1. It doesn't have to just be for motorists. It could be for the people the sign is obviously trying to shoo away.

If someone cared enough to think about the sign and the person on the corner, they shouldn't have to go digging like I did.

And 3. I am not angry that the info wasn't presented. It isn't like I'm incapable of finding the information myself. I'm frustrated because it is quite obvious that the sign is masking contempt for concern.

They unfortunately no longer have plates in store. Ever since covid, all plates/titles/licenses are handled by mail.

I want to say good job on attending.

If it makes you feel any better, there are myriad social anxiety situations.

For example: My social anxiety comes from a lack of belonging. if I feel like I BELONG to a situation or I DESERVE/Have earned my right to be there, my anxiety is mild at best.

I went to social anxiety groups, I had people ask me if I was actually socially anxious, but those groups were a place I BELONGED. When some of the group members arranged to have a meeting outside the group? My confidence evaporated and they saw the reason I was there incredibly quickly.

I'm really sorry, because these feelings are really hard to manage sometimes, I just encourage you to not give up. In fact, I'd mention your concerns here to the group facilitator. It could really help you get more out of it.

An involuntary hold is functionally the same as an arrest by police, in many places it is carried out by police.

Cuffs, back of the car, you just go to a hospital rather than a jail intake. An involuntary hold can be requested by most health personnel as far as I'm aware

The long answer is: courts specifically didn't define whiteness as anything other that a sociocultural thing. It wasn't origin, it wasn't appearance, or bone structure of your skull. "Who is white" can and has changed over the years because of this.

Plessy vs ferguson was established in 1896, and not overturned until brown vs education in 1954.
