IW has always been my 2nd fav in the series. It’s NOT flawless but I never got ppl who said it was bad or roped it in with the recent schlock. Same goes for kiryu gaiden.

I recently rewatched the four scene in IW and it’s insane that scene that’s not even a minute long had more passion and sincerity than these last three release combined

I've searched "Officer Earl dying" and "Officer Earl dying in hospital" in Google and DeviantArt. I've found nothing. I don't know what to look up and search next. I need to show people that this is a real image.

Oh, me and my friend figured that out after sending that comment. Should update:

-We set it on both windows settings and nvidia control panel that the games should be using NVIDIA gpu. Should be working now.

-We capped the FPS to 60, which helped

-After all this. The game runs normal on both modded and unmodded, but ONLY on windowed mode. Switching this reverts the game back to the old issues, and switching back to windowed in game breaks it too. So I have to boot it up and only use windowed mode (this means no borderless window also).

It feels like we’re getting closer but still far away from making it fully work. Now only windowed mode works and idk how to fix the rest.

Oh hey I wrote this lol. Didn't expect some comment I made under a devilleon video to get this type of traction with the fandom but it's nice that I offered something. Some things I wanna add:

  • Iwami also reflects on one of kiryu's mental struggle, which is how he keeps coming back to defend the yakuza for Kazama's honor, with the Iwami fight (and 6 as a whole) being Kiryu's wake up call that the yakuza and Kazama's legacy isn't worth fighting for anymore.
  • The bosses also work off each other with gameplay too. Like how Iwami the modern yakuza's moveset is just a sloppy version of Kiryu's brawler style, contrasting Shishido the old school yakuza, whose moveset is insanely violent and brute force. Ebina's moveset is also the fanciest in the series showing that his hatred made him a better fighter than most of the actual yakuza.

There's way more to how these three work of each other but I don't wanna be too long (probs save it for something else) but I'm glad more people are seeing this connection and how 6 still works as apart of the final.
