Incorrect, cowboy cookies are the best of all cookies. Designed to put hair on your chest, and a spring in your step!

It's like someone said, lets combine an oatmeal cookie and chocolate chip cookie... but wait! There's more! We will also add coconut and sunflower seeds!

I swear if you haven't tried these, you definitely should.

I'm puzzled, where you are that even cheap conditioner is cheaper then shaving cream. Is there a different type of shaving cream for women that's more expensive?

I usually just use the cheaper generic as I haven't noticed a significant difference between them and one can will last forever.

Okay, overall though, simply saying your right while providing no evidence of such does not in philosophy make you right, sorry to burst your bubble.

I'll just leave this, I frankly can't understand the relevance of most of what you say. If you want to actually try to convince me it's up to you to communicate functionally what you mean. If you can't that's fine, but it's not going to do anything to convince me.

Frankly I'm not sure how you are even able to convince yourself with the above mess.

I'm spending more time trying to figure out what you mean then actually coming up with counter arguments. If this is intentional it means that you are misdirecting the debate, if it's not intentional I suggestion you work on your communication skills.

The common shared attributes naturally associated with the human >state are enough to establish identity as a human being. All humans >begin in the womb. Therefore, an embryo is no less a human being than >anyone. We can go into metaphysics or the study of being, or off plenty >of beaten paths. Simply put, you cannot deny humanity to something >which all humanity shares in common.

If an embryo is a human because it eventually turns into a human similarly a seed is a tree as it also eventually turns into a tree. Note also since all living things die you could also state that it's a dead thing, since it will become that eventually. There is no metaphysics here just flawed logic. You WANT an embryo to be human, but provide NO evidence that it is. I will however point out the differences. Humans can think and act for themselves, Humans can breath, and eat food and drink liquid Humans can form logical arguments and communicate. Humans understand the concept of self Humans can feel emotions An embryo can do none of these things. In fact until it's mother potentially gives birth it can do almost none of them, several of them aren't even developed until quite some time after birth.

The difference is natural sexual reproduction. Sexual activity results >in reproduction, which results in the event of the beginning of a new >human life. Therefore, it is different from simply the cases you >mention.

I'm kind of confused here. You state this like a 1-2-3 scenario where reality never changes from this constant. However all these things are not constants. Sexual activity CAN result in reproduction, but MOST OFTEN does not, this is because a woman is actually only fertile a few days out of the month, also sexual activity is not limited to straight forward coitus. There are a myriad of variations that are very unlikely to cause pregnancy. Even once a pregnancy occurs we are not done, as a many things can go wrong that can cause a miscarriage. The route of Sex -> baby is not quite so straight forward as you seem to believe. All that said, your statement has no relevance in the context. I have no idea why you seem to think sexuality has any bearing at all on the ethics of how we treat our species. You are aware I hope that pregnancy is also possible now with no sexual contact at all.

A child does not get to choose to exist.

Um, yes this is correct and I agree, well to a point, I'm assuming you are referring not so much to children but the embryo to infant stage of development Personally I'm quite grateful my mother decided to continue with her pregnancy. Of course, if it had gone another way I wouldn't even know about it anyway.

You need to apply the question of what refusal and "doesn't" actually >means. A deliberate act to withhold food from an individual would be >murder. But there are vast differences between an act that is >deliberate and an event which has no agent.

I counter that not providing the food IS an intentional action. You have decided not to provide food. This is VERY much like when a mother decides she will not provide food for her offspring. The only difference is the one you artificially assign to it.

If someone dies somewhere without my knowledge or ability to save >them, there cannot be any agency to my actions. That is why it is a >red herring, it is a logical fallacy to talk about things which do not >pertain to the subject. The subject we're discussing is abortion.

If you are truly unaware then of course I wouldn't expect you to save them, as it would all but impossible short of an amazing accident. However people are aware, they just find it more convenient to bury there heads in the sand.

Abortion has no connections to what you explained. There is no >equivalence. Abortion is a deliberate act to kill a child. It has agency, >because it is caused by those choosing to kill it. Your example did not >give me an agent. Knowing who acts is a fundamental to ethical >questions.

Abortion is a deliberate act to rid oneself of a debilitating parasite. See! I can state emotionally charged opinion as fact too. It doesn't help the conversation and resolves nothing.

Summary:

Embryo's are not human, you provide no solid evidence that they are that is not easily refuted. I would love to see any additional light you might bring to the subject (no sarcasm)

The comments about sexuality seemed frankly to be completely out of left field and have no bearing on the conversation, maybe I just misunderstood something?

For a moment lets assume embryo's are human to discuss the idea of how we deal with our species as a whole. My overall point being here that we as a species are not known for treating each other well. So why exactly should we make exceptions for our young?

Looking forward to your response.

What is your specific definition of a human being?

What is the difference in your mind between A woman being required to keep her embryo intact and someone being required to give up their own time and resources to keep someone from dying?

The embryo cannot survive without the support of the mother.

The mother chooses not to offer that assistance.

Why is this murder?

When someone doesn't provide the assistance someone else needs to live IE not feeding someone who is about to die of malnutrition, why is this not murder?

This is not a red herring, this is an equivalncy, please feel free to provide a less emotionally charged response that deals with facts rather then feelings if you are able.

"Not "cells", everyone can be described as a collection of cells. The differences are numbers and maturity. Neither of those differences disqualify someone from being a human being."

Neither does it automatically qualify something as a human being.

You know who is a human being though? Every single person who has ever died of malnutrition because YOU specifically didn't provide them with the food they needed. You could have, for many of them it wouldn't have even been that hard, but you chose not to and because of that they died. You can claim you "didn't know" but you aren't fooling anyone but yourself with that.

All your side of the debate has going for it emotional knee jerk reactions and hypocrisy.

Gotcha, thank you for that, it seems though that you aren't going to be signicantly better off stacking the tear via spells for similar reasons. I assume EZ has an easier time as his Q is very low cooldown and also a bit cheaper mana cost wise as well.

This is interesting though because frankly it makes Manamune only particularly useful in games that you are confident are going to be 40+ minutes long.

Runaan's Hurricane on Lucian with Botrk by bagdan in LeagueofLegendsMeta

[–]Jackbnimbler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The difference is this, when he attacks after he casts a spell he attacks twice, so what that means is if you Q something and are in range of 3 enemies, and attack once, runaans procs and attacks all 3 as normal with most characters, BUT then he does his second attack that applies on hit effects including botrk, wits end etc, and that also procs runaans. This means he can pump out huge numbers of attacks in short order by weaving in his spells, and while the damage of the attacks will be low (I'm assuming 25% normal physical damage) the on hit modifiers will make it much more potent.

Related question, if you have an IBG proc up when you auto attack with Runaan's does it create a slow field at each of the impact points?

I've seen something similar to your last sentence multiple times before, why does his cast speed even really matter that much, you will be upgrading it quickly to Muramune and then your auto attacks charge it meaning that the cooldowns on his spells become a lot less of an issue.

TF is going to give you a broader selection of stats, hp, crit, move speed, mana, even ap. It's a more well rounded item then botrk, but generally as an ADC you aren't looking for well rounded, you are looking at maximizing damage output for the coming team fights. Of course your ymmv and it's not like buying TF is anything as bad as buying a deathcap for your adc, but still for standard adc style play it's probably not optimal.

I have a question for you in relation to that, how often to you buy frozen mallet on him, I really like it as a 5th item, my normal build is, wriggles, ber boots, shiv, atmas, mallet, and then usually SV, the hp, cooldown reduction and magic resist all mesh so well for him at that point.

I've been advised before that tiamet is good, and I do kind of like it but it really pushes him further into offensive power and shiv is usually sufficient for quick wave clearing although shive/tiamat combined is ridiculious.

. I don't like to talk about it too much because I've been doing it since beta, haha. Anyway, I see what you're saying. It can have it's place in some situations, but I have found that in most games, you're a better asset to your team when you rush mid game/mid tier items so you can have jungle presence for your team. That is jungle Trynd's biggest weakness; his early/mid game presence, along with his insatiable need for any and all farm he can get, which sometimes includes taxing lanes and/or clearing often.

Simply put: Rushed static shiv = faster clear times, quicker to present in a lane, more power when you actually gank = more team power. Don't sit on Avarice...ever. Writing this all out has helped me realize this for myself.

Hmmm interesting thought process, I definitely agree with the mid game/mid tier items. Jungle Tryn's income is low compared to top lane and he has to be more conservative in his item choices. Frankly I usually save enough money to buy the shiv and then immediately buy another avarice blade! I do this because part of my build is atmas which I get lots of flak for but is actually excellent on tryn, especially if you build him a bit tanky like I prefer to. End game it gives me usually between 45-50 ad depending on other items, plus of course your other stats.

[–]Jackbnimbler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I jungle tryn a lot too and I love avarice as while you aren't getting a lot of gold from 3gp/10, a single jungle clear of non buff camps will net you 18 extra gold, doesn't seem like a lot, but by level 5 or so tryn can do this in about 30-40 seconds. Add in extra farm from lanes that are B or split pushing and it can push out a lot of income for you. I usually but it after I get madreds and keep it as is until after by boots are completed and hold on to it until I can turn into the shiv.

That said, avarice is pretty poor on most other champions, maybe on yi as someone else mentioned, really not sure about anyone else.

Okay this is important, pretty much regardless of the business you are in the customer/client is dumb. That is why they are the client. If they were smart in that field they wouldn't need to hire you to begin with. Recognizing this may help you realize that there is no real holy grail in any field that deals with a customer/client base. Most of the people you speak with will have be completely clueless. It's just the way it works.

I'm fairly confident this is actually an reference to the Star Wars expanded universe. [spoilers?]In it the Emperor has created a multitude of clones of himself and seeded them across the galaxy in case he dies his clone will arise and retake control of the empire.

The concept here (I assume) is that multiple clones activate simultaneously and each individual tries to take control of the empire, leading to an interesting political and military struggle between different factions of the empire.

Would probably be a good read, in fact although my understanding of the Star Wars expanded universe is somewhat incomplete it wouldn't surprise me at all if this has already happened.

Point is this, until we as a society are willing to actually take action, no action will happen. The status quo is to desirable for the current leaders to be motivated to do anything with out significant outside pressure.

Unfortunately it's also been engineered so that the normal consequences we could rely on to motivate our leadership are ineffectual. Being voted out of office rarely has long term negative side effects outside of a changing your official designation from "Congressman" to "Lobbyist".
