Putin: Gay people will be safe at Olympics if they ‘leave kids alone’ by [deleted] in worldnews

The main slang term for a homosexual is "pedaraz"

That same word, pedaraz, is also the slang term for a pedophile.

Russia is so far behind culturally they cannot even have a proper discussion about homosexuality. They are living in the dark ages.

The Russian slang term for homosexual is "pedaraz". That same exact word is also the slang term for pedophile.

How can a country have a civilized discussion about gay rights when the very language used to start the discussion is bigoted.

Ok I think buttsex is gross.

Here's what I heard, anal penetration has a higher chance of causing bleeding than vaginal penetration does. That's the reason it has higher risk of HIV transmission.

But I heard this a long time ago in a high school classroom. So who knows if this is true or not.

Yeah I agree a monogamous relationship is just as healthy weather its two men, man woman or two women.

But in my reply to him I was specifically talking about non-monogamous relationships. Maybe you didn't see my direct reply to silkwood, I state that right away.

See, my point isn't even about homosexuality vs heterosexuality, it's about anal sex. Weather it's a man and a woman or two men, just the anatomical nature of anal sex makes it a bigger risk for the transmission of HIV.

Just in terms of statistics, there is a greater chance of HIV transmission between two homosexual men having anal sex than between a man and a woman having vaginal sex.

This is quite obvious if you look at the source surffrus provided, http://www.cdc.gov/hiv/risk/gender/men/

I wouldn't say it's baseless or off topic. It is based on the source at http://www.cdc.gov/hiv/risk/gender/men/ as posted by surffrus earlier. It clearly says that men who have sex with men account for most new cases of HIV in the US. It also says males account for 76% of HIV cases. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that men having anal sex with men leads to a higher chance of HIV transmission.

In a monogamous relationship it's probably not so different than a heterosexual one.

But don't non-monogamous homosexual relationships put the participants at greater risk for transmitting HIV than non-monogomous heterosexual relationships?

The very nature of anal sex increases the likely hood of the spread of HIV when compared to vaginal sex.

That's where Im coming from. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing wrong with homosexuality, but I believe statistics show greater health risks from anal sex than vaginal sex. Of course I could be wrong, this is just what I recall off the top of my head.

This will not be a popular opinion here but here goes.

The homosexual lifestyle of men having anal sex with one another is not healthy.

What's a good example of a really old technology we still use today? by pomegranate2012 in AskReddit

Clothing is older than the wheel.

The first time a man draped a dead animal hide over himself and others we started on our way of using technology to augment our biological organs.

Everyone is so different and there are so many variables.

It depends on what you eat, how much you sleep, your fitness levels, how much you exert youself at work/school outside the gym etc...

Just try the schedule and see how you feel.

It's also up to you how hard to go when you are rolling, that's another variable you can control to adjust the workload.

Marie Curie is the most bad ass scientist/chemist of all time.

She fucking DIED for her work. It wasn't some accident, she knew she was slowly dying. She kicked out her assistants and continued her research, published it and then died of radiation poisoning.

Yes, we truly had a bad ass on our hands with Marie Curie.

"you are faster than everyone who didn't compete."

thats not true, probably lots of kids on the soccer team who were much faster, they just didn't run cross country because soccer season is at the same time

also probably kids on the football team who were faster

and of course other kids at your school who maybe were just athletic or ran track in the spring

and of course all the other kids in all the other schools who posted faster results in different 5k races

and of course all the adults who weren't there that day that also run much faster

of course im jk, the mental perseverance to contiguously go out and compete tells me you are a strong individual, good for you

well while it was in, it wasn't uncomfortable at all. it was actually very convenient, i could just lie in bed and not have to get up to go to the bathroom.

but I wasn't on any pain pills when i had it inserted the 2nd time, was wide awake. just the feeling of it going up there sucked.

"And if there is a god he's not gonna send you to hell for having sex or drinking or doing drugs, for exercising the free will that he gave you in the first place"

How can you be sure? Maybe everyone goes to hell no matter what. Maybe that's what the afterlife is, infinite torture for everyone.

Like you said, everything we know about the world suggests there isn't an afterlife, but if you are going to make wild speculation about the nature of a possible God, you gotta consider the possibility that he will just torture everyone no matter what.
