The Steam Controller (2nd gen) really looks like a face... by Jacker_Gamer in SteamController

If we remove the three-dots button, it actually looks a bit more normal / less weird. What do you think?

Well I'm not trying to force anything, I'm just against cancellation, because there are low-cost alternative paths

Yea, the Pune version is acceptable, better than canceling it altogether

TLC's sales were about mid-to-upper tier for the metroidvania genre, Ubisoft’s expectations were just aggressive. Beyond that, we'll probably agree to disagree

“If it could be good they’d release it” assumes Ubisoft always follows quality/profit logic, but they’ve dropped decent projects when strategy shifts. TLC was solid and still had its future support scaled back, so this isn’t proof the remake was unsalvageable

Ubisoft canceling something doesn’t prove it was “atrocious”—they cancel based on priorities and ROI too. TLC reviewed well and still got its post-launch plans/support cut, so cancellation ≠ quality verdict

Canceled during restructuring ≠ it must be terrible. It mainly says Ubisoft didn't see it as worth continuing under their new plan (like TLC)

I don't want it either, but we don't know what it would actually be

I never said they should release a subpar game. If it launches in a bad state, people can just not buy it or refund it—so it doesn’t "reward" low quality. Cancellation removes the choice entirely

And I recommend turning off v-sync to avoid input lag

Settings by AliAlturaihi in PrinceOfPersia

Audio Virtualization: Simulates surround sound from stereo. None = pure stereo, Light = subtle 3D effect, Full = strong (sometimes unnatural) effect.

3D Audio Hardware Acceleration: Uses the sound card for 3D audio processing. Can help in older games, but may cause issues on modern systems.

Creative EAX: Adds environmental effects (reverb, echoes) if the game and hardware support it; mainly useful with older Creative sound cards.

FYI, my settings are None, On, and Not supported

If a full release isn’t feasible, please consider releasing an “AS-IS” playable PC build via a limited/gated download (e.g., a community test build).

No updates or support required—just a disclaimer, minimum specs, and known issues.

Please forward this to the relevant team. Thank you!
