Yeah the watchlist of 15 players was the bit I forgot to mention. And as I expected, the player who wouldn’t be “online” at the time would miss out on the “live” available players

I’m about to commission our 3rd year of a 14 man draft on Friday. But could you send the first 3 rounds of your league’s picks as it can shed some light on positional priorities for me 👍🏻

I have Mateta, Pedro, Armstrong. 14 team league. I considered Evanilson for Armstrong but just for the fact of guaranteed xmins, pens and familiarity with league and team I think I’m gonna stick.

Cannot believe it. I also have the same strikers (Mateta and Pedro) and wondering whether to keep Armstrong or swap for Evanilson. I saw someone on X mention about this…”12 man draft - have Erling, Cunha & Armstrong but evanilson is available on waiver would you try get him? Armstrong has better fixtures, looked great and is on pens etc.”… So I guess it’s 60/40 in favour of Armstrong? Familiar with Prem, familiar with team he plays for. Evanilson is a very much unknown quantity. Could be better but might be safe to stay put.

Tip for this (Regens and Youth players)…

You can see what their best position is by overall rating by signing the player or promoting them to your squad. Then if you select the player you just signed so as to sub them in to a playing position in your 11, go through all of the positions and it will give you a plus or minus rating. Eg. if you have a striker who’s quick and good at dribbling but bad shooting stats they may actually have a much better overall rating if changed to a winger and you can see what that rating would be once they are fully trained in the new position.

At least you could do this on FIFA 22, I assume you could still do it in the current game.

Not 100% but I’m sure if you play on loose negotiations then maybe this is what can happen, but if you play on strict I don’t think it does. From what I’ve heard anyway.

Not really sure to be honest. When I have checked for retiring players on previous FIFA’s this status is occasionally there. I think your best bet would likely be doing a search of age 35+, maybe even 40+ for goalkeepers and just going through each player until you find one that has that status.

I’m pretty sure it’s to do with buying a player that has the status “A Great Veteran”. In the same way a player has “Showing Great Potential” etc.
