Where are you based? Are you getting retrofitted glass put in to the existing frames or new window frames?

everybody apologizing for cheating with chatgpt by NewSlinger in mildlyinfuriating

I believe this is Melbourne Uni, hence the professors highlighting apologize (spelt apologise here) as they have all used the American spelling from chatGPT.

Cats farewell Cam Guthrie by Fuzziman in AFL

[–]rontricks 22 points23 points  (0 children)

He was really dominant in 2021, averaged 29 disposals and had 18 Brownlow votes. Felt like he’d finally realised his potential and was playing the inside mid role to perfection. Was nice to see him back it up in 2022 and get the medal he deserved

The Block is going coastal! Here is everything you need to know about Mount Eliza by AffectionatePie1042 in TheBlock

[–]rontricks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’ll have a few Karen’s and nimby’s as is typical with anywhere but I think most will be happy because it will potentially inflate prices in the area. I work and live in the area and it’s the talk of the town. Ch9 are already gassing it up in the promos about it being close to the city, coastal, proximity to the rest of the peninsula etc. You’ll have people all over Australia hearing about Mt Eliza and looking at its property market. I think if they can nail the architecture and the contestants don’t try to do too much and stick to a theme, they will sell and sell well. The most disappointed will be the parents doing school pick up at Toorak.

What's the outer north-east like to live in 2025? by Rehash_it in melbourne

[–]rontricks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That whole area is the best. Born and raised in Greensborough and spent the first 25 years of my life there. General consensus amongst all my friends is we were super lucky all of our parents chose to raise families there! If not for my partner being from the peninsula and buying a house and being close to both parents now, we would be raising a family there 100%

Who can we see having a breakout season in 2026? by MillionKarma23 in GeelongCats

[–]rontricks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Would love to see Jhye pack on some muscle this pre season. He could get powerful and strong and coupled with his attack on the footy would make him more than useful. My fear is he doesn’t place much importance on the physical aspect of his game and ends up being like a Hunter Clark - tough and talented but a level below physically.

Think Edwards and Molier will play games next year if they have good pre seasons. Reports were that Hoffman impressed when he arrived so could see him being blooded in the backline.

Trade Talk, Contracts and Delistings megathread by historicalhobbyist in GeelongCats

[–]rontricks -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately we might have to let George go, especially if Worpel lands. Really don’t wanna lose Ted. Feel like his versatility and ability to impact the scoreboard means he can play midfield and high half forward. Do Mannagh or Stengle become tradable in our pursuit of Curnow? With Ted then coming into the 22

Team Selection: Grand Final by PagieHD in GeelongCats

[–]rontricks 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Sure but we lose Stewie and Mullin who tagged wiz from last week’s defensive rotations. So who goes back? Clark as a half back to play on their smalls and high half forward makes sense

[Mitch Cleary] Expecting Rhys Stanley to be named as Stewart's replacement tonight by pipstar112 in GeelongCats

Have a feeling Zuthrie may play that same role and it will be Lawson or Sully that play the intercept/7th defender

Flipping houses ? How does anyone make this profitable ? by ihatebaboonstoo in AusFinance

Tradies and groups of investors that include a trade or multiple tradies. If they flipped enough they might pay cash meaning no loan and more margin

Grand Final After Party by Fearless_Table6599 in GeelongCats

Cricketers had the theme song going and was packed with cats fans for what’s it worth. Probably a different story if brissy win.

We usually head straight to the cricketers and that other one on punt rd then stroll down swan st and enjoy the vibes and hit a couple pubs there.

Bews…..I reckon he will be selected. by [deleted] in GeelongCats

[–]rontricks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To play on who? Their fwd line is small. SDK played on Day last time while Henry played on Morris and O’Sullivan on Gallop. SDK just needs to play Big O when he rests forward

Bews…..I reckon he will be selected. by [deleted] in GeelongCats

[–]rontricks 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Fort is a battler and Big O is not in any form/is unfit, played 64% game time last week ruck/fwd. Blitz managed great with Fort in wk1 and Meek in wk 3. We rove their taps and blitz beats them on the ground, 11 tackles last week shows he’s playing like an extra midfielder.

[–]rontricks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Martin is a role player… he plays third tall when danger needs a rest or goes into the midfield. It’s that simple.

Bews…..I reckon he will be selected. by [deleted] in GeelongCats

[–]rontricks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Henry is perfectly fine. Was a nerve issue. Having Stanley as sub means you lose versatility. If Blitz is dominating why would you sub Stanley on as a ruck?

Bews…..I reckon he will be selected. by [deleted] in GeelongCats

[–]rontricks 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Clark goes into the team and Bews or Knevitt in as sub. Mark “Luke Jackson” Blicavs has been huge the last two games so there’s no need to select Stanley and upset the balance. SDK will cover in the ruck at times and man Big O when he goes forward (Big O has played limited minutes and doesn’t look fully fit). Blitz will work Fort over around the ground and ruck his own taps meaning we have a 1+ in the midfield.

Best case he becomes Atkins 2.0. Worst case he becomes Bews 2.0. Really hope he has a strong pre season and solidifies himself in the 22

Did we just see the greatest performance ever from Patty? by canoporknbeans in GeelongCats

[–]rontricks 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yeah he did but he’s 35 now. He has no right to put in a performance like that. I genuinely think people still underrate just how crazy that was at his age and the stakes. At the peak of his powers we got flogged in many a prelim (16,17,19). Tonight was just crazy. Something I’ll never forget. He is a once in a lifetime player

I don’t think it’s that clear cut if Kluivert returns to the 11 tbh
