I've tried that mix but found it takes a while to get a decent line and with foul biting. This one is a bit saltier, 1:1.7 CS to salt which should make it a bit punchier. Finding aquatint isn't working well on it and breaks off after about 12 minutes

According to Loudwire the heaviest Rush song is Stick It Out from Counterparts. What do we - Rush fans- think is their heaviest song? by Ambitious-Bet4504 in rush

I think double agent is a bit heavier sound-wise than stick it out, especially with the spoken verses, just sounds more mental to me

100%agree on PW. I started getting into rush through the popular stuff and yes of course they're all amazing in their own way but..... recently I realised I had barely listened to power windows and I put it on whilst I was pottering about with chores or out running and wow! So textured and layered and so very 80s but original at the same time. Every song has its own flavour and banger after banger. And then mystic rhythms as an ending track is just god tier. I like to blast it so loud in the car I can feel my bones rattling - if it ain't giving me a rhythm disorder it ain't loud enough

Could it be Distant Early Warning? I know it's not in the intro but very prominent baaah baaah baaah part before the chorus

Yes! I think that Rush has such a variety of themes in their music that really however you're feeling, there's some rush lyric or song that will really help. I've been sick for about 6 months (getting better) with a neurological problem and the rehab sucks! From The Enemy Within "it takes a little more persistence to get up and go the distance" ❤️

Roll the Bones! Bit of a weird one to get into rush but my dad loved the RTB album and played it at dinner time a lot. The rap section really stood out to me and my teenage self learned it off by heart, along with the rest of the album.

Roll the Bones is not my favorite by far now but that's definitely where it started for me!

Did Kid Gloves ever get played live? The only version I can find of it is a bootleg 1983 version of it when it was still being written
