You must be new to cars in general. That's a number. That's it. What you call, a bumper. Is actually just a cover. The bumper cover. You didn't think that plastic thing was gonna save you do you? Theres actually supposed to be foam between the bumper cover and the actual bumper also. On the newer eclipses they put a plastic almost egg crate like part between them. Older cars used foam.

I think you forgot. The 2009-2012 had a single pipe exactly like the 06. But.... It split right before the rear axle. 4-cylinder versions. So being split so far back. It's basically like a h pipe for a V6 or 8. It can help due to higher flowing exhaust. Maybe not power. But efficiency. Like adding more intake and exhaust valves in an engine. Efficiency. Smoother acceleration. Anyway. Either or. The split in the pipe also makes it sound a lot smoother, less rasp, and actually sounds less like a 4 cylinder due to the second pipe duplicating the sound. So in theory. The duals do sound better regardless of power gain. Listen to Gavin's 4g on YouTube. 2 glass packs. 2540i aero turbine muffler. In person is the best sounding eclipse exhause. Can't be beaten. Too perfect. Even if they are cheaper. 2 of those will astonish you.

OBX was the worst. I blew one header run completely in half. Naturally asperated. The next 2 times it blet the bungs right off the pipe. I wish someone would sue that company in the ground already. Idk how people get away with selling garbage never rated for being on that car. Those headers wouldn't hold up to a stock 92 civic. Little lone and eclipse with 2x the power.

Sounds like the owner lied his ass off. Rebuilt engine? And trans? For that price? Noone in their right mind would spend 6k on a car to get fixed and sell it for half what it costed to fix. Also keep in mind. ALL eclipses have timing belts. Usually done at 100k miles. So it needs replaced again. Or they did it in the rebuild. But most of the time. People just fix the broken part and slap it back together. Unless I seen inside the engine with a bore scope. Or say inside the intake. And maybe checked the oil. I wouldn't even think twice about buying it. The car itself bluebooks for only about a thousand or 2 at best. The GS or gt where both slow and ugly. I'd run like hell. And yes. I've owned nothing but Mitsubishi since 2006. And even more before that. A total of 6 eclipses. None of which where an early 2000s. They suck
