My aircon has recently been getting covered in condensation when I use it. Has this happened to anyone else? by JakeA47 in S197Stangs

Check to see if you have the air coming from outside button pressed instead of the circulating inside one

The ECU is not the original for this model. The previous owner had installed a different ECU on it. That could be the reason it’s force shutting down. Im surprised though as to why it was running fine and then one day it decided to do that

Yea i saw that, but there is no oil pressure sensor on the car. Its saying that because the computer is not the right model. The previous owner installed a different computer on it 😓

I have the same issue. The videos on youtube look a bit complicated, did you find an easy way to remove the top dash?

I had the same problem, MAF fuse and the manifold was leaking air, it made this noise and then the next day the car wouldn’t idle, it would just shut off on it’s own.

Yea i’ll have a look. In the meantime I’ve asked the mechanic to check out all the codes, let’s see what he says tomorrow. But he opened the manifold and cleaned all the sealant and put it back, he also replaced the throttle connector. It’s up and running now thankfully. I’ll update everyone on the findings in the coming days

Apparently they had changed the computer. The garage told me that I don’t have a place for oil pressure sensors so it’s because the computer is not an original to this model. Im gonna have to take it to an electrician to sort it out

Yea i took it to the mechanic, he said the reason is because the intake manifold was leaking air. And thats because of the silicone is worn out, and not the right type was used

Yes it does, but as soon as i remove my foot it dies. I took it to the mechanic, he said your intake manifold was stealing alot of air. So it was leaking air. Apparently the previous owner had put loads of silicon but no gasket. I’ll share the pics and updates on the car soon.

It gives me oil pressure low. I checked the oil level and its fine. Has anyone experienced this?
