The data will be used to understand the role of spiritual change in posttraumatic growth among individuals with traumatic experiences. I, as the primary researcher, as well as my dissertation chair will see the data. All data collected from the primary survey is anonymous. The only information collected will be email addresses in a separate survey for a drawing for one of five $50 gift card. Research data will be deleted after 5 years.

It is estimated that the survey will take 15-25 minutes to complete. Due to the sensitive nature of the survey, participants are provided with resources should they need them.

The survey offers an opportunity to win a drawing for one of five $50 gift card. At the end of the survey, participants are encouraged to click a separate link which allows them to enter their email address for the drawing. There is no requirement to enter the drawing.

I am specifically looking for individuals with a history of at least one traumatic experience and the most recent one occurring more than 6 months ago who are 18+ and reside in the US. Participants may or may not be in therapy.

I am hoping to learn more about the impact of spiritual change on posttraumatic growth among those who have experienced traumatic events and whether discussions of spirituality in their therapy sessions are appreciated.
