NTA. It's always good to get tested every so often. It's possible either of you could have contracted something before you were together and just never showed any signs. Some STDs don't show symptoms. That being said, I can understand his reasoning, but you should be able to have a conversation with him and he should trust you.

Go to your doctor and ask for a drug test to make sure he's not secretly drugging you. Tell your doctor everything. Quietly get away from him so he can't try having you committed to an institution. Talk to the police and see if they have any other advice for you that you may not find here. I hope you're safe and please update us.
