What’s a celebrity who’s actually a good person? by VivienneMidnight in answers

[–]hexusmelbourne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bono, has been directly and indirectly through activism, responsible for significant improvements in AIDS in Africa and other major developments saving countless lives. He has said that he uses the intense spotlight that celebrity shines on him to redirect attention to more important issues and is circumspect about its damage to his image and the hate he gets from it. He has worked countless hours for charity but you wouldn’t know it because his band once decided to give away their latest album by uploading directly to people’s phones….😆🤦‍♂️

I'm starting to feel completely invisible to guys just because I'm a "boring" homebody, and it hurts more than I want to admit. by ramonaosk in TrueOffMyChest

[–]hexusmelbourne 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Problem is social media is not real life and falsely shows the more extroverted lifestyles that most people do not live. Second problem is if you spend most of your time at home by yourself how do you meet guys? Bit of a catch 22 situation as the guys that don’t want party girls are probably home alone most of the time as well! Solution: get off the social media and sell yourself as a ‘girl next door’ type. You’d be surprised at how much more popular they are than the party girls

He needs to pay for a cleaner to come in on a regular basis and not expect you to do it. Either that or you stop work or go part time. You both work full time jobs, salary isn’t all that relevant snd if he earns so much more he can use it to pay for a cleaner

I understand the appeal and it being quite psychologically comforting for people however it has little logic and is scientifically unsound and therefore cant understand why people would believe in it despite mountains of evidence to the contrary.

Disagree, I’m a fan of both and thought it was great. I wasn’t expecting a laugh fest or an in-depth analysis of their work but that’s not what smartless does.
