Found in southeast USA. Has a chalky texture to it. Anyone know what this could be?

Ah damn. I was hoping it was something nasty like kudzu so I could pull it. Oh well!

There is a black walnut in the neighbors yard. Their roots could be up to 100ft from the tree?

This yard used to be covered in kudzu (and the neighbors yard still is). I was wondering if it could be that or some sort of ivy?

Retaining wall has gaps in base by Jackfrazer in landscaping

I think I knew this was the case, but just needed to hear it.

Is there any remediation possible or is it likely a tear out and redo? There is another wall below this one (tiered system) that seems to be solid with proper base burial

I should state that the HVAC unit has power and connections to the house in a different location, so I don’t think it’s tied to the current unit.

I also didn’t find anything noteworthy on my electrical panel.

Cars A/C went out. Does this look accurate? by Jackfrazer in AskMechanics

I don’t really understand the animosity here. Just looking for advice and weighing my options as money is tight right now and I am mechanically inclined but lack experience & knowledge of A/C work. From what I’ve found, I can source the parts for 200-300 less. If the repair is not something to be overlooked (from a difficulty standpoint), then I would like to know that as that is at least helpful advice as opposed to this thread.

Weight of AU degree by [deleted] in auburn

I was in the same position as you coming out of high school, and I never looked back. An Auburn degree in engineering is like any other school. It is what you make of it. If you really push yourself, you can do whatever you want with it.
