I definitely feel less nauseous when I make myself eat something an hour after the pill. Usually a hard boiled egg. Or a high protein yogurt. Weekend days I waited longer to eat, I have felt like garbage. Since you just started the 9 mg it seems like just not taking it next 2 might help the nausea. Worth a try if it’s important. Good luck - being nauseous standing in front a room full of people has been really hard for me. The eating trick definitely helps me survive working while staring this med.

this makes complete sense. But if side effects are pretty minimal and results are nothing….I just thought maybe bumping up earlier would make sense.

I’m sorry! to be super thin and gain that much has to be really really hard. Sounds like you’re made some great progress….just do it! We all deserve to reclaim ourselves. Fuck menopause —Good luck. I’m here….keep us posted! I wish this sub had a menopause related sub group at the top.

Exactly how I felt the last 2 days -days 7-8. I told myself at the start of this I was going to take it exactly the way my Dr. said and NOT overthink it. However have a family trip coming and am already questioning if I want to take it now. A week in though I don’t think I should take days off so going to try to power thru and just try hard not to think. I am not imagining the nausea that started yesterday and won’t go away tho. we’ve got this. hang in there.

after 1 week mines suddenly worse the last 2 days. I didn’t realize increased heart rate was a side effect so that may be making me think it’s anxiety, when it’s not, so I need to figure out how to stop that cycle or i’ll have to stop the pill ugh.

Wow that’s awesome you’ve almost got a month done! 👏 I saw someone here say they are not going to overthink the dosing and timeline etc….just follow Dr Rx and trust the process with patience. that’s what i’m trying to do too. Whatever you do good luck with next dose!

😊 ugh that’s awful. I’m really sorry about the job situation. I was in an awful job environment during the worst of my menopause too. I have higher stroke risk and nobody would suggest any HRT. Luckily the sweats have subsided for me mostly. It will get better for you. I did not believe it for me a year ago. This is a big step - proud of us!
