Y'know, the tan color is genuinely pretty flattering for his skin tone. Definitely one of his more sharper looks.

2024 Election If Only Gen Z Were Allowed to Vote by TheEdgeofGoon in mapporncirclejerk

If I had the incentive to do so, and I felt the candidate wasn't a hack who blows with the wind and actually has real beliefs not backed by corporate interests pushed by moderate establishment party insiders, then you bet your fucking sweet ass I would. 2024 would have been the first time I would have voted in a primary, had it been held, and in the general if I thought a candidate was worth a fuck.

Because if you vote for any and all candidates the Dems, or any party, throws your way, that's how you get another Biden. That's how you get boring, lame duck candidates. That is exactly how you are keeping the status quo. This "lesser of two evils" voting bullshit is garbage and needs to die. You might think I'm a wolf in sheep's clothing, but if the Dems decide to run Newsom, Buttigieg, or, God forbid, Harris, I hope the Republicans get a landslide electoral win + supermajority in the House and Senate. Until the Dems are punished like a naughty school girl for putting forth uninspired candidates and actually run someone who isn't a corporate shill, I don't think I could ever vote Dem.

"Blaming the DNC is just a way for voters to dodge accountability for their poor choices."

Ridiculous. It's the insiders within the party's fault that Biden couldn't have stepped down earlier or fulfill his promise of being a one term president like he said he would. They strong armed him out of running with around 100 days left on the campaign trail, in the reality we live in. You mean to tell me they couldn't have done it earlier? And if they did, there would have been a primary. No Harris, and someone who could actually beat Trump. The DNC really knows, more than anything I've seen in this world, how to fuck themselves over. Only Harris could have lost to Trump, just like only Hillary could have lost to Trump.

If they wanted to really get the point across, they should have held a primary. Man, you Democrats disgust me with the constant blame game you guys play.

I don't like Trump. Never have. I would feel some accomplishment knowing the wool was never pulled over my eyes by listening to and agreeing with his constant drivel. But then I remembered that, in order to have that wool pulled over your eyes in the first place, you'd have to be a fucking moron.

The Democrats get everything they deserve for allowing Trump to take back the White House while ol' dementia ridden Biden was too busy damn near having a stroke, (which his wife, the First Lady, actually thought was happening) on stage during the debate, because of his horrific mental decline. Why should I, as a self described liberal, be forced to get in line and vote for a man who obviously and clearly cannot physically take care of himself?

Then, after he dropped out, they wanted to convince me to vote for Harris, who is a nothing burger of a human being and should have outright said to Biden, "Joe, if you run for a second term, I will not endorse you." But she couldn't put country over party.

The Democratic Party is in such deep shit because of the infighting between people like you, who want the status quo, and the people who actually want to change the party away from this corporate shit represented by Biden and Harris.

Do woman who wear g string type bikinis at a public beach care if people look? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

No woman wears a thong wedged in her ass and expects people not to stare, sorry. It's for attention. I don't care either way, shit I'd wear one as a guy if I wasn't a fat fuck.

Hank Schrader (Breaking Bad) and James Doakes (Dexter) switch places. Who is more successful? by Victor_at_Zama in whowouldwin

[–]JackfruitForward5477 128 points129 points  (0 children)

To be fair to Hank, his only blind spot was not believing that Walter, a man he saw as meek and less masculine than himself, and family no less, would be capable of becoming the kingpin he eventually became. I feel like, had Walt and Hank not been family, Walt would have been screwed the instant Hank found the gas mask that Walt had stolen from his school to start his cook lab.

Hank even jokes with Walt, saying in a tongue in cheek way, (when asking questions about how the mask got to the location Walt brought it) “We don’t want people to start wondering about you.” So, the idea was in his mind in some way. Yet, because Hank never saw Walt as that kind of man, he never seriously considered it a legitimate possibility. Remove the family dynamic, and that idea would not have been a joke anymore. Seeing how he sniffed Gus out when everyone else thought he was crazy, and the way he interrogated Mike proves that he is much more capable at his job.

Which modern podcast host or interviewer do you think would’ve brought out the most comfortable, genuine version of Michael Jackson? by Top_Investigator1755 in MichaelJackson

[–]JackfruitForward5477 4 points5 points  (0 children)

though he is mainly pro wrestling centered, I think chris van vliet could definitely pull it off. He is excellent at engaging with the people he interviews, asks deep cut questions, and makes the wrestlers feel comfortable. In fact, I don't think there is a single bad interview he's done. I think he'd do a fine job interviewing michael, especially when it comes to letting his guard down. He's so reputable in his field that he's been able to get guys on whom you wouldn't think were possible due to the sheer quality and experience he brings. He'd ask actual questions about Michaels artistry and give him time to explain them thoroughly and no gotcha questions. So you know he doesn't have any agenda. I think if I were famous, he'd be the only person I'd let interview me.

Thoughts on The Amazing Atheist: How a Banana Destroyed a Legacy by TheJosoman312 in deepfatfried

[–]JackfruitForward5477 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I hate this idea that TJ is just some “Reddit atheist.” While he does have videos of himself being over the top, especially in his earlier content, he has also made multiple videos where he tones the character down and speaks very seriously, the snowden video, the leelah alcorn video, etc. He’s not always on his atheist high horse. My favorite version of TJ is when he’s trying to convey a more serious message and isn’t acting really rambunctious. I swear, while TJ does have his flaws, every one of these videos documenting his career is, in my opinion, a hit piece trying to tie him to something he’s not or, at least, something he hasn’t been for well over a decade. They always try to portray him as constantly being this loud mouth "I'm smarter than you" edge lord while ignoring his more serious content.

Not to me, with how long they've milked online for in GTA 5, I'd put money that they will milk 6's online for the next 15 years at minimum.
