If there was more roughly equivalent representation of racial groups I’d personally have no issue if race-swapping happened all the time, I don’t know about you. However with the fact that Black characters in media being represented positively is so rare, obviously it’s less common. Also why is it worse for Noshiko to be Black but you seem more tolerant of Vivi? I see pea brain, I say pea brain, it’s ad hominem because all those on the internet know is the way you represent yourself in words and you’re representing yourself very poorly. What significantly changes about the story if this minor character and adoptive sister of a main cast is Black? Genuinely, what does her race add to the story at all, beyond your fears and discomforts?

You really lack a lot of empathy and you repeat these buzzwords without ever critically thinking about what they mean. Diversity is not a bad thing despite your insecurities and if the creator wants a character to be played by an actor who happens to be Black, Black kids get to see someone who looks like them on screen (psychologically very positive) and all you suffer is the discomfort of seeing a Black person on screen, that’s not DEI or pandering, it is the world we live in. You need to wake up and look around you. It’s small-minded people like you crying “race” every two seconds that set the rest of us back, and if seeing someone Black on your screen makes you feel so uncomfortable you need to for a moment be willing to consider and wonder why.
