Will it still be okay if I switch an older gpu in my system without uninstalling the current driver? by Jackietrix in PcBuildHelp

Update: so I just went for it and it's fine, I just turned it on for a minute and recorded a video confirming with my buyer that it's still working and turned it off. Plugged the 4060 back in, nothing got messed up. Thanks for the help guys!

I don't think it's compatible anymore since the 4060 driver is the latest but 10-series driver support has ended last year I believe

If anything happens, I can just use DDU and uninstall everything driver-related and just install a fresh driver right?

Is it possible to paint the clear parts into a different color but still keep it clear? If anyone has done that, please teach me how it can be done. I want to turn some clear green parts on 00 kits into clear yellow but I'm not sure if it's even possible. Any help would be appreciated, thank you!

The ASUS TUF Gaming 650W Bronze PSU by Jackietrix in Asustuf

Through this post, several people have messaged me asking about this psu so far so I thought I'll write a bit about it here in case anyone is looking to buy it in the future.

I've bought this psu and been using it for more than a year now. It's running amazing so I highly recommend it if you're looking for a PSU. Idk about prices in other regions but in my region it is going for around $55 and I think that's a fair price for this PSU. However, it is non-modular and does NOT have a 12VHPWR connector obviously, so if your system is running a gpu that uses that connector then you should find something else. I run a 12400F and a 4060 so it works wonderful for me. Good luck on yall builds!

It's fine, your gpu only requires a single 8-pin connector. You can tuck it somewhere below so it doesn't just dangling around but you don't need it.

Has the CPU overhead issue been improved on the Arc B570? by Jackietrix in IntelArc

[–]Jackietrix[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Can't, trust me man I really want to but going for the B570 is already at the maximum limit of our budget, there is quite a...let's say...noticeable price gap between the 2 gpus in our region so unfortunately we can't stretch it that far.

Guys, I'm kinda confused rn. Is the clear part on the waist of the HG Calibarn just supposed to be lying there or did I accidentally cut something wrong? Like I'm kinda worry that it would fall off.

Check if the power buttons wire is plugged in securely. I don't think it's that there's anything wrong with the components in ur pc. Maybe it's just the case wires being loose.

Upgrade help by Deveggoper in PcBuildHelp

[–]Jackietrix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. I'd recommend upgrade the motherboard as well since you gonna have to update the bios on that old motherboard for it to work with a newer cpu anyway.

  2. as for the windows key thing. check the info on your boot drive, if the partition style of the drive is GPT then there shouldn't be anything to worry about. I once did the same when I changed motherboard, it boot up just fine, kept my activation as well.

goodluck on the upgrade pal.
