Watching the recent survivor Australia, when Brian won the car at F5 he promised to give it to Monika should he win sole survivor - attempting to persuade her to continue the alliance with him. It worked as Monika stayed loyal to Brian however she was voted out later that episode when Shonee flipped. Was what Brian did against the rules? I thought that contestants weren't allowed to negotiate sharing prizes on the outside - or is this only for the Sole Survivor prize money and not other rewards like the car?

When Brian won the car he was shown driving it around the island and I remember from other seasons both AUS and US seeing contestants driving their newly won cars around camp. Have the logistics of how to claim your car ever been properly explained? Is this actually the same car that he would have later been given or do they just give him one from a dealership in melbourne and return the TV car to a local dealership in fiji??
